Welcome to round 8 of Fave One Direction single survivor and now with just 3 songs left, "Story Of My Life" has now finally left after such a close battle and in the end was just one vote behind "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Kiss You" and "Best Song Ever" won the last round. So now we have 3 singles, one from each album and the next round will be the final, so everyone get voting and makes sure you're fave song don't get voted out.

Released in October 2013 as the second single from their third album "Midnight Memories" and marked a change in the boy's sound, taking a more guitar driven folk pop with influences of arena rock and often compared to the works of Mumford and Sons, and the lyrics are more reflective and much deeper than previous releases and of course the fans and public lapped this up and following on from the massive success of "BSE" the track topped the charts in Bulgaria, Denmark, Ireland, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain. In the UK the song entered the charts at #4 and climbed to #2 several weeks later, spending 10 weeks in the top 10 becoming their 9th top 10 hit and is currently their 3rd biggest selling single over there. The track also reached top 5 in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Greece, Israel, Netherlands, Scotland, Turkey and Italy. In the US it reached #6 becoming their 4th top 10 hit and sold over 2 million copies. The track also charted in the top 10 in Czech Republic, Poland, Sweden and South Africa. Elsewhere it made top 20 peaks in Norway, Austria, Swiss, Hungary and Finland, then top 40 in 3 other countries.
