Why would radio *not* playing a song give it a long chart run? :huh: Tell that to radio 1 about 'Moves Like Jagger' ;) Back to the point though - it only happens rarely, but when a popular song (generally one outside the usual singles chart demographic) is ignored by radio, it has very limited alternative promo, so its sales aren't concentrated into a short period.
