'habits' was warmest record of the night for zane last week. r1 seem to be really getting onboard with her which is fabulous (and was obv all along)

also did not realise her name was pronounced tover low (a bit like tuvalu~)

third act this week for me, where i've been saying their name incorrectly (thought iyes were i-yes and kieza was pronounced key-zaa)

wtf has happened to me / my life

23 Tove Lo 'Stay High' (feat. Hippie Sabotage) [Habits Remix]

i really don't get it? what is the appeal of this remix? it's clearly destined for top 5. sort of bittersweet tbh, obv it's good to see her becoming a succe$$ but i hope she isn't seen as an anonymous dance act for forever more. time will obv tell.

i have faith in polydor

It seems like most if not all of the people on here who dislike 'Stay High' are of that opinion due to thinking it's just a weaker remix of 'Habits'? I haven't heard the original and I love 'Stay High'. The vast majority of the UK public won't have heard the original either. That may have something to do with it.

If the love for her is anywhere near as universal overall as it is on here I have no doubt that she will be big with her other releases as well. 'Stay High' made sense as a song to push her considering what's currently big in the charts.

I just did. I still prefer the remix but the original is a very strong song as well (love the video very much also). Need to give this EP a listen really, I hope that terrible 'Evil Spawn' song was a blip from her a la Kiesza's 'Oops'.

I like both versions but prefer the original as it's not as repetitive.

Overall though it's a fantastic EP!

The EP is nothing like Evil Spawn! Of course I like that song or I wouldn't have sent it but that was when she was independent and unknown, her style on this EP suits her a lot more imo - it's all in a similar vein to Habits.

bless you ryan, thanks for taking the time out of your day to share that with us all, really appreciate it <3

how do you feel about the song yourself? you a fan or is it not quite your cup of tea? do tell!

I didn't give an opinion on it straight away as I hadn't had chance to watch the video yet, but I thought I'd post it while I had found it. Anyway I like it a lot but I haven't heard the original yet. I will listen to that soon :)

Just heard the original Stay High. It's bloody awful.
One of the capital variations plays the original version, yeah it is quite slow compared to the remix which is interesting and sounds really good!

do you mean 'Habits'? if so you need your ears replacing

went to her gig tonight. she's sooooo pretty. and sounded rly good as well, great natural stage presence. she started on a song I didn't know (how?!), then did all the EP songs, then closed with 'run on love', which I've never been particularly into but was a proper rave-up and a bang of a finish. super.
