Michonne USED to be a badass but now she has emotions.

Well, Michonne started off as a badass and we got to see her softer side and the EXACT opposite happened with Carol. They're both amazing, however!

Michonne is such a fascinating character. She's a bitch,but she has a reason to be a bitch.

 

Danai Gurira being an outstanding actress also helps.

TWD - Monday, 10th November.

 

Well that was an hour of my life I'll never get back. Without doubt the very worst episode of TWD from any series. The only mercy was Eugene admitting what we'd all suspected from the moment he first appeared!!!!

Horses for courses I suppose. I thought it was dreadful - with dreadful acting too. I don't like Beth but I really enjoyed last weeks episode. I actually like some of the characters in this episode - but wish I hadn't bothered watching now. It was a total waste of time - if ever there was a 'filler' episode then this was it.

Yeah that was a pretty bad episode. Could not connect to Eugene at all and Glenn/Maggie are not my favourite veteran characters. Also, I'm really sad that Eugene isn't an actual scientist as I thought the show would get somewhere if they made it to DC.

I think I said at the time we first saw Eugene -'if he's got the answer to this - then I'm Margaret Thatcher!' The only thing I could get from this episode was at least I was proven right! :lol:

Just watched some trailers - looks like it'll be back on form.

Yes I wasn't a massive fan either, but I think that was was more down to a lack of established characters, and the fact that unless you're in to shipping characters, Glenn/Maggie are probably the two worst characters out of the core cast.

 

It added some much needed character development to Abraham & Eugene though, certainly made both their motives a lot clearer

Michonne needs to come back and SLAY.

I enjoyed the episode enough, but I really like Abraham. So it was great to get some back story for him and some strong progression of his character. Everything else was a bit "good" but that's all for me I guess. It had it's moments. The big fire hose scene was genius. But yeah compared to the rest of this season, that episode was a bit mediocre in comparison.

 

Looking forward to next week though! I hope Carol getting caught is indeed her and Daryl actually planning it.

The episode was far from the worst but it was the worst of this season but that was bound to happen sooner or later. Was brilliant seeing Abrahams story and although a lie Eugenes mission gave him the purpose he needed.

Apparently this episode almost wasn't aired because the censors weren't happy with it. Seems a bit bizarre considering all the gruesome scenes that have occurred before this episode. Some are speculating it was the sex scene that was a problem, but it wasn't explicit. Hmm!

AMC hate sex & swearing. But they don't mind violence.

I think the

implied raping of the women at Terminus was very disturbing. I felt really bad for Mary. The cannibalism was frankly disturbing but a brilliant idea! Poor Bob :(

 

 

Wanted to kill Eugene as he's just ruined everything for them at this point. I was kinda glad he cracked his head on the floor.

 

Maybe the censors didn't like the implied consumption of Abraham's family as it's pretty grim.

When did Carol become the best character in this? I could barely handle the slayage.

A bit boring :( Loved Carole in this, she made it extremely good! The episode seemed a tad slow and didn't seem to go anywhere except fleshing out Carol's back-story a bit further perhaps?
