How did this release go so wrong? I mean, the song has so much going for it; brilliant video, stellar airplay (top 10 on the rolling chart) and it's actually a very decent track. I would've predicted a long running top 10 hit prior to release. #32 is just woeful.

 

I was just about to post something similar. Why on earth has this flopped so hard? Like you said, it has ever element of a stereotypical hit single. It has a wide appeal, good airplay, not released on a dodgy week etc. yet it's flagging so much! Watch it get 59p'd in the next few days.

Ella Henderson has starting the climb, i hope it continues, Ghost should be platinum in the next 2 weeks.

First radio 1 play of Jessie Js new one on Scott Mills now....shes on breakfast tomorrow too. If shed released this on Monday it probably could have challenged for No1 next week but sure we'll wait for 2 months and itll sell 125k(30k on pre orders) instead :rolleyes:

That Jessie J songs sounds like a massive #1, absolutely incredible. Currently #1 on iTunes USA and gaining like crazy.

Bang Bang sounds a little bit screechy as Michael! would say. :lol:

 

Unfortunately the track has not clicked with me just yet. Nicki Minaj's part sounds a bit irritating in places.

It is single-worthy imo, since it's a great song. Hopefully it'll get top 40 on its release week, but it's not looking too likely.

It was added today or yesterday on Spotify so probably the same for iTunes. Drake's and Lil Wayne's songs usually seem to get put on UK iTunes a few days to a week late for some reason. Nicki has the luxury of getting her songs on UK iTunes almost straight away nearly every time...

I do wonder what causes the slight delay with their releases. At least they don't ever properly hold them back though.

I don't know. It's not like they hold them back to the next Sunday (which would have some logic behind it), the songs just seem to get released at a random time about 2-8 days after the US release. The label probably just doesn't care very much about their success lol.

It is still being cherrypicked, its been constantly climbing and is now up to 69
