LOVE 'Troublemaker', 'Paper Planes', 'Crazy In Love' and 'One Step At a Time' Yay Olly <3

Olly love is always appreciated here as you know :kink:

Surprised to see 'Ice' in there! VERY good song but I've always preferred 'Saviour' and especially 'Drive My Soul'. I don't suppose either one is coming later :o

'One Step At A Time' is a great one too! The entire melody is terrific, I love the line "we live and we learn" right before the chorus. Like most of Jordin's singles it deserved to be a bigger smash.

...oh now I see I'm a post behind :kink: 'Who Knew' and 'Independence Day' are my faves in that section!

I love Saviour but never really got Drive My Soul in the same way as those two :( and nope neither are to come, Ice is my fave song if hers <3

I feel like it should have been a massive hit <3

Yasss Independence Day love  I only discovered it because of Carrie Underwood singing it on Idol, iirc it's the B-Side to Inside Your Heaven!

Ooh catching up & liking a lot so far, especially 'Frozen' - but you know I'm going to say that's FAR too low for such a masterpiece!!

Expect a lot more goodness here so I will try and keep up with this now I know it exists :D!

140 Florence & The Machine - Dog Days Are Over

139 Miley Cyrus - Party In The USA

138 Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah

137 Sanna Nielsen - I'm In Love

136 Kate Nash - Foundations

135 Ashlee Simpson - Pieces Of Me

134 Beyoncé ft. Jay-Z - Deja vu

133 Lily Allen - The Fear

132 Sara Bareilles - Love Song

131 t.A.t.u. - All The Things She Said

This section is entirely 00s! Among the 00s amazingness is the funky B'Day highlight and UK #1 Déjà vu by Beyoncé, faux lesbian Russians t.A.t.u., gutter mouth Kate Nash's almost #1 Foundations (I'm still gutted it missed out by like 20 copies :() and Sanna Nielsen's master lass in perfect Schlager, the Melodifestivalen hit I'm In Love. Florence & the Machine also brings a dash of indie cred with one of her biggest hits Dog Days Are Over, which I believe is one of the biggest selling songs that never made the top 20. Fact fans rejoice.

'All the Things She Said' is wonderful, in fact I was listening to it earlier! I really enjoyed their follow-ups, too!

Not Gonna Get Us *.*

130 Katy Perry - E.T.

129 Rihanna ft. Jay-Z - Umbrella

128 Charli XCX - Nuclear Season

127 Alanis Morissette - Uninvited

126 Carrie Underwood - Jesus Take The Wheel

125 The Band Perry - If I Die Young

124 Aaliyah - Try Again

123 2NE1 - I Am The Best

122 Hilary Duff - Come Clean

121 Alphabeat - Fascination

A along ugly cool and credible section, but possibly one of the best regarded R&B tracks ever from the late Aaliyah contrasts just a tad with a hugely perky, perhaps slightly cheesy, pop fest from Alphabeat. Grant aka Regina can also rejoice as the "Canadian Queen" in his words makes her first appearance with Uninvited, which was a song recorded for a movie but sadly never actually got released in the UK. Charli XCX's best song (even though she's all popular now, soz Fancy) Nuclear Seasons, which sticks out to me as one of the best, if not THE best, BJSC songs while I've been competing, also makes an appearance, as does a tear jerking country track from The Band Perry, a notorious 10 week UK #1 from Rihanna and teen queen Hilary Duff's second best song. Gypsy Woman still slays Dignity, her career, my life and the entire universe.

Uninvtied *.* I reckon it woulda smashed if released here, her first new post JLP song.

Deja Vu in the previous section :heart-old: I think it's just as good as Crazy In Love.

127 Alanis Morissette - Uninvited

126 Carrie Underwood - Jesus Take The Wheel

125 The Band Perry - If I Die Young

122 Hilary Duff - Come Clean

121 Alphabeat - Fascination

All of these are all-time faves for me too! The other five are great too but Fascination is def. the biggest highlight there, and I remember really enjoying Come Clean at the time. Honestly, if the 120s are this good I'm just not ready for whatever SLAYAGE you're saving for the top 100 *.*

It would have been amazing for it to be her first top as nothing from JLP made it :(

Déjà vu is so underrated :( it was a UK #1 but sold really badly for a chart topper, it's her best uptempo <3

I had Come Clean on first MP3 player at the time! And there is 120 more pieces of slayage to come :smoke:

Top what? :P 3? 5? 10? Cause she had a top 10 with Head Over Feet, the 5th single, oddly

I meant top 10, I forgot HOF got top 10, I always think Ironic was the highest peaker at #11

Liam!!! You should have let me know you were doing this! Loving that you included Tangled Up though, my fave Girls Aloud album  Hoping Cheryl features on your list too. I assume that no appearance so far is because she features highly :kink:

Ooh E.T. is one of Katy's best! Also, I ADORE Aaliyah, 'Try Again' is a great one for her too!

That an More Than A Woman are her best, becsuse I'm a mainstream whore. I was like the only person who loved Enough Said too :(

I love so many of those songs, especially the fear, foundations and fascination

I love if I die young so much. It made the most random appearance topping my personal chart this year before I joined buzzjack and it is one of my 9 million sellers this year

I loved it since its release <3 I'd hoped it would cross over like a year after it was a big in the US, but it's been four years now so alas not.

120 Miley Cyrus - See You Again (Rock Mafia Mix)

119 Little Mix - DNA

118 Demi Lovato - La La Land

117 Ellie Goulding - Lights

116 Selena Gomez - A Year Without Rain

115 Sugababes - Hole In The Head

114 Paramore - Misery Business

113 Lady Gaga - Judas

112 Robyn ft. Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

111 Shakespears Sister - Stay

The penultimate section before the top 100 is largely dominated by the past 7 years, including three Disney stars who have broken out as popstars in their own right; incidentally both Demi and Miley tracks were both stars' international debut singles and both gave them their first top 40 (first solo top 40 in Demi's case, as This Is Me with Joe Jonas reached #33). Selena's track, meanwhile, is the stunning eurodance ballad title track from her second album, and was a minor top 75 hit for her in the UK. This section also features UK #1s from Sugababes, Robyn and the annoyingly purposefully misspelled act Shakespears Sister (the only song older than 2007 from this set, as well as some rock from Paramore with their first UK hit, the title track from Ellie Goulding's debut album, the bonkers and often slated second single from Lady Gaga's Born This Way and a huge pop anthem with Little Mix.

Playing catch-up again!

'Hallelujah' REALLY!? That better not be the highest Burke song, boy -__-

Some real classics from Rihanna, Shakespears Sister, Robyn and one of MANY Katy/Gaga highlights too woop. 'Fascination' too, still makes me full of glee after all these years  - need their comeback to come round pronto.

It isn't :kink:

Their last era was a bit shit but the first two slayed, especially Fascination, The Spell, Boyfriend and DJ <3
