110 Alexandra Burke ft. Flo Rida - Bad Boys

109 Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

108 Carrie Underwood - So Small

107 Destiny's Child - Say My Name

106 Alizee - Moi... Lolita

105 Jennifer Lopez - Waiting For Tonight

104 Spice Girls - Stop

103 Justin Timberlake ft. Timbaland - SexyBack

102 LeAnn Rimes - Can't Fight The Moonlight

101 Lady Gaga ft. Beyoncé - Telephone

The final ten before we reach the top 100! This batch includes one of the most recent songs in the whole top 200, Taylor Swift's 2012 singalong anthem We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together which marked her transition into pop, as well as a rare foreign language track from French singer Alizée, who took Moi... Lolita to #9 in the UK and, keeping Taylor company as a fellow country star trying her hand at pop, is LeAnn Rimes, who's 2000 single Can't Fight The Moonlight gave her a #1 hit in the UK. Also just shy of the top 100 are X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke's "proper" debut single, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood with a gorgeous country ballad about the power of love, an R&B classic from Beyoncé and Destiny's Child ft. Beyoncé, two 90s classics from Jennifer Lopez and Spice Girls, a sexy and slick R&B hit from Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga (as well as Beyoncé again!) with her 4th UK #1 Telephone.

'So Small' and 'Waiting For Tonight' would definitely make my list! They're both flawless. I want to say 'So Small' is my favorite Carrie song but tbh I'm not sure it's even the best song on Carnival Ride!

You're right, because Flat On The Floor exists :kink: and Last Name.

100 Nelly Furtado - Say It Right

99 Dusty Springfield - Son Of A Preacher Man

98 Adele - Someone Like You

97 Maroon 5 - This Love

96 Cher - Believe

95 Namie Amuro - What A Feeling

94 Myléne Farmer - Desenchantée

93 Carrie Underwood - Wasted

92 Demi Lovato ft. Joe Jonas - This Is Me

91 Timoteij - Kom

Helping kick off the top 100 in style in the countdown's oldest song, Dusty Springfield's 1968 classic Son Of A Preacher Man - which outdates a majority of this countdown by at least 20-30 years! We also wave goodbye to three foreign language tracks - Timoteij's Swedish language ethnopop Melodifestivalen hit Kom from 2010, Myléne Farmer's (dubbed as the "French Madonna" by some) biggest hit Desenchantée from 1993 and J-Pop superstar Namie Amuro with her 80s inspired track What A Feeling, which samples Irene Cara. As well as some worldwide culture, this section boasts a Timbaland assisted Nelly Furtado modern classic, N Adele megahit, some guitar pop from Maroon 5, a 90s pop classic and million seller from Cher, a reflective country track from Carrie Underwood and a movie defining duet from Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas which made the UK top 40 off the back of their film Camp Rock.

90 Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone

89 Mariah Carey - We Belong Together

88 The Cranberries - Zombie

87 Shontelle - Impossible

86 Kate Bush - This Woman's Work

85 Miley Cyrus - Fly On The Wall

84 Shakira ft. Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie

83 Girls Aloud - Sexy.... No! No! No!

82 Sugababes - Freak Like Me

81 Janet Jackson - What Have You Done For Me Lately?

The next section represents the 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s all in one! At the tail end are two big hits from 2005 from Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson, the former of which only just missed out on being a much needed Uk #1 for Mariah just when her career was looking like being pretty much dead! The oldest track in this bunch is Janet Jackson's breakout smash What Have You Done For Me Lately?, which dates back to 1986, followed by Kate Bush's haunting ballad This Woman's Work from 1989 and one of the The Cranberries' most remembered tracks Zombie from 1995. More recent cuts come from Shontelle with her huge R&B ballad Impossible, which was covered by James Arthur as his X-Factor winning single, Miley Cyrus with her 2009 top 20 hit Fly On The Wall, Shakira's stratospheric worldwide hit Hips Don't Lie and rival girl groups Girls Aloud and Sugababes with Sexy... No! No! No! and Freak Like Me respectively.

80 The Veronicas - Untouched

79 Jordin Sparks ft. Chris Brown - No Air

78 Heart - Alone

77 Olly Murs ft. Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat

76 Carrie Underwood - Last Name

75 Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone

74 Christina Aguilera - Genie In A Bottle

73 Britney Spears - Break The Ice

72 Kylie Minogue - Confide In Me

71 Agnes - Release Me

Carrie Underwood has quite the influence on this section! As well as her drunk Vegas wedding anthem Last Name, Heart's 80s power ballad Alone was also performed (amazingly I might add) by her during her time in American Idol and Carrie is also joined by two of her fellow Idol winners' singles - Jordin Sparks biggest hit No Air and Kelly Clarkson's unjust UK flop Already Gone. In non-Carrie news, Olly Murs also makes an appearance with his second UK #1 (also his first US hit, probably helped by his insanely tight trousers in the video), Christina Aguilera's debut single and transatlantic #1 Genie In The Bottle, Britney Spears' best post-breakdown single Break The Ice, Kylie Minogue's dark career definer Confide In Me, a danceable Scandipop UK smash from Agnes and a string laden Auspop modern classic from duo The Veronicas.

'Break The Ice' is my favourite Britney single so happy to see it do so well here!

Nice to see Janet making an appearance too, with one of her fiercest classics. Cher 'Believe' gets the ultimate *.* from me though.

It gets a lot more hate than I imagine :(

WHYDFML is still Janet's best <3

70 All Saints - Pure Shores

69 Duffy - Warwick Avenue

68 Madonna - Ray Of Light

67 Florence & The Machine - Shake It Out

66 Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness

65 JoJo - Too Little, Too Late

64 Mariah Carey - Obsessed

63 Miranda Lambert - Gunpowder & Lead

62 Demi Lovato - Here We Go Again

61 Gotye ft. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know

As it's obligitary to mention what an injustice Obsessed's UK floppage was, WHY DID THEY f*** UP THE RELEASE?! Easily her best single... Joining that hugely underrated dig at the horrifically overrated "rap god" Eminem are two more tracks which didn't make a dent in the UK from Miranda Lambert and Demi Lovato (granted, neither were actually pushed or released as singles here!), but also a fair few hits. These include a 90s classic from Madonna, which was cruelly beaten to #1 by All Saints, who have another of their #1s here at #70, heart wrenching soul perfection from Duffy, a huge voiced anthem from Florence & The Machine, JoJo's Too Little, Too Late and Gotye's recent million seller Somebody That I Used To Know. We could also add Lana Del Rey to that list if I weren't basing Summertime Sadness being my 66th favourite song ever on the fact that the original is perfectly sublime, as only the Cedric Gervais remix had a noticeable impact on the UK chart.

OMG I've been meaning to comment on this for ages but been distracted the past few weeks (need to get back to doing mine too!!) but OMG 'Pure Shores' and 'Summertime Sadness' are excellent

10/10 amazing section of songs  Warwick Ave. in particular is stunning! Confused at what you're saying about Summertime Sadness but I assume that's the original which is the one I prefer too! Hoping for more Miranda in the top 60 :D

60 Lady Gaga - Paparazzi

59 Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway

58 Sugababes - Stronger

57 Evanescence - Bring Me To Life

56 Dolly Parton - Jolene

55 Ashanti - Foolish

54 Whitney Houston - One Moment In Time

53 Rihanna - Disturbia

52 Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles

51 En Vogue - Don't Let Go

This next set of 10 sublime tracks features a song each from serial all time fave charters Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson, the former of which is well regarded by many as one of her best, whilst the latter is the title track to the best album of all time. Dolly Parton takes us back to the 70s with her hit Jolene, whilst the 80s is further represented by Whitney Houston's #1 hit One Moment Time, whilst the 90s is also covered by En Vogue's Don't Let Go which, fact fans, was #5 in the chart when I was born. The 00s are also well represented by the aforementioned Kelly and Gaga as well as a rock track from Evanesence, lovelorn teen-pop/R&B from JoJo, an R&B classic with an unmistakable piano riff from Ashanti (not the last we've heard of her and her riffs), a piano ballad from one hit wonder Vanessa Carlton and a self confidence moving on anthem from Sugababes.

50 Carrie Underwood - Cowboy Casanova

49 Jessica Mauboy - Burn

48 Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love

47 The Saturdays - Missing You

46 Kylie Minogue - In My Arms

45 Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

44 Britney Spears - Everytime

43 Madonna - Into The Groove

42 Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)

41 Delta Goodrem - Believe Again

I think I'll have to go into hiding from Regina here, as I have rated In My Arms as Kylie's best by placing it 46th. Oops. It is though, and it's in great company as it's joined entirely by lots of 21st century perfection. This set is bookended by tracks that weren't properly release in the Uk so didn't make an impact - a Shania Twain channelling country stomper from Carrie, an electropop club banger from Jessica Mauboy and a stunning new age influenced anthem from Delta Goodrem, although the former was a #11 platinum hit in the US and the latter two hit #1 and #2 in Australia respectively. The more commercially successful tracks in this set come from The Saturdays' Missing You, hugely underrated within the fanbase and an uplifting anthem from Kelly Clarkson, as well as four UK #1 hits in the form of Cheryl Cole's undeniable pop anthem Fight For This Love, Britney Spears' uncharacteristically gorgeous and emotional ballad Everytime, Rihanna's eurodance club banger Only Girl (In The World) and Madonna's biggest selling hit Into The Groove.

110 Alexandra Burke ft. Flo Rida - Bad Boys

SleighdT

Shoulda been top 10 tho, not gonna lie
