If they can get the Children In Need single this year (Frankie is doing Strictly and it's usually boy/girlbands who get the CIN single) then I could see that reviving some interest in them. If not, then I guess it's a Christmas album.

I do agree the reason they didn't go with the advert is because it was probably too costly. Though if it was played I'm sure it would double their sales at least (to a measly 3k maybe.. :kink:) which wouldn't be much, but it would give them more weeks in the top 40, which would create more buzz which in turn would help them out in the long run. That being said, they may have WANTED to run the advert but the Saturdays budget dried up when they had to pay Groupon to advertise their tickets for 2-4-1... :unsure:

But they want a succesfull single to get as much money as possible. Surely they won't even consider The Sats with the recent floppage and their last charity single is probably among the lowest selling for Comic Relief?

Well actually Just Can't Get Enough sold more than Proud, Gold Forever, Morning Sun, Word Up, Walk This Way and most of the other recent charity singles except from One Way Or Another. :P

I think you meant Comic Relief :D CIN was done by Ellie Goulding last year and Emma Burton a while back (as well as Shane Richie and Will Young etc.) so I think it's very mixed. I think they will have more of a shot doing an advert song like Somewhere Only We Know

I'd love for them to do the John Lewis advert this year, would be incredible hearing them do a song like The Power of Love/Somewhere only We Know :wub:

John Lewis would be incredible but they unfortunately do not appeal to everyone, or at least not to the wide audience the company would like.

Ellie Goulding did 'Your Song' which went top 5 and Platinum. I think half that would be a wide enough audience for the sats
