For me this is the worst! The sales don't make any sense!

 

The only thing I can think of, is that people used the same card to buy the tour and the deluxe edition, would that mean one sale is void?

 

How does it work? Because I know if you buy multiple copies in one transaction it only counts as 1 sale?

 

I guess the good news is if they get a boost from BBC Breakfast they arn't far off the top 5.

It's hard to say really! Like Lee wrote, usually any missing sales info is highlighted. In an ideal scenario I'd like to think tour versions are missing and that the sales/midweek figure will be better tomorrow, but at the end of the day this is The Saturdays and it's probably best to not be too hopeful! :lol:

They couldn't sell 39 songs for £9.99?! Considering most fans bought 2 or more copies it does actually mean probably only 1k people in all of the UK have purchased this.

I mean I'm not gonna cry over it or something, but I do feel massively let down and disappointed (or are those the same thing) because of this flop.

Especially since I had to endure Alexandra, Kesha, Jennifer and Samantha Jade flopping already

Argh it just doesn't make sense :( really top 10 is good given they aren't exactly huge album sellers but 39 songs for £9.99 (less for some casual fans who might have a few singles and can complete the album) not selling well is worrying. And so gutting, given the quality of this GH thanks to so many amazing singles! Also the pre-order looked a bit more promising than this I thought. On the bright side, the single is selling a little better than I thought actually, it's just a shame streaming will really hit them.

But Totto, the worse The Saturdays do, the less likely we'll ever get anymore of them.

A year ago I would of been absolutely devistated but right now I'm not really shocked, their & their managements lazy attitude is the only thing that can be blamed for this. Yes Una it's alright constantly saying this isn't going to be the end of The Saturdays but you can't just release albums for fun. I'm slightly shocked at how low the sales actually are, musically it should have sold way more. But I suppose that's what you get when you do minimum promo & constantly go on holiday.

 

Really hope this gives the girls the kick up the arse they need. Look at artists like Jessie J, she had one day off last week & will be working everyday until Christmas to promote her Single & new album. Yet The Saturdays do 1 week work and have to go on holiday for the ext 3 months just to recover. :(

It's eight months into the year and they've performed on TV twice and had like 7 gigs.
