They already released two dance songs from the album so thought a ballad would sell the album over Christmas (like Issues). Looking back they should probably have released another single instead but I'm not sure it would have made much difference. Things seemed to fall apart for the girls in 2011 (Vanessa's voice, Frankie's depression, radio starting to abandon them, I'd say Notorious and All Fired Up underperformed and then the album bombed).

I still would have wanted MHTO released, they just had so much time between OYR and LFTW thry could have tried a bit more singles wise, 30 Days was meant for an OYR rerelease too.

I was actually expecting alot worse for the album. It'll probably fall to like #38 or something by Sunday and then hopefully after Tumble it gets a third week top 40?

Heard '808' in full this morning after thinking it sounded pretty good on Big Brother last night and I'm really hooked on it. I'd say "would've made a better single" but I still maintain that What Are You Waiting For? is a great track, it just had no support. I suppose 808 would've got less of the "this is so repetitive" comments.

Final someone else that thinks What Are You Waiting For? is a great track. It's a brilliant sing and for me it's one of their best. You should give 'walking Through The Desert' a listen too.

I think 'WAYWF' is a brilliant track! I still think it's the best song out of the 3 new ones, and the right choice for being the single. It's just a great shame it got snubbed by both radio and TV. :(

My friend who quite likes the Sat's more dancey stuff (she loves All Fired Up and enjoys Not Giving Up) isn't too fussed for What Are You Waiting For? As she thinks it's to repetitive and sounds like one person singing most of it.

 

I do enjoy the song, I apparently paid to download it and have the cd single... I don't recall preordering it.

I think What Are You Waiting For is going to end up as one of my all time favourite singles. It's just so crazy and loud and I love how there's a random one-off chorus halfway through the song (I honestly must rewind this and play it again about 10 times a day) before it changes to a different chorus. :lol:

My most played song by the girls is 363 and WAYWF is 360 plays off that....crazy! :lol:
