I always thought 'Telephone' was really very average, it has none of Gaga's personality in it and it could literally be anybody. A very anonymous song.

Oh, no, she reaaally wanted it. That's why GaGa had to bring in Beyonce as Britney wanted it for herself. O, at least her team choosing her new album tracklist did.
Telephone is one of the main songs that got me into Gaga, I'm so glad Britney never got it!
