August 13, 201411 yr Glad Radio 1 are playing Benediction in full! All Of Me up to #13, really? :mansoncheer: Edited August 13, 201411 yr by Rush
August 13, 201411 yr Author The BBC really don't like album charts - never update them on schedule! :P
August 13, 201411 yr I'm honestly surprised at The Saturdays - they have quite a lot of top ten singles, but poor selling albums so you'd think this sort of collection would appeal to those who heard Higher, Ego or What About Us but didn't bother with the parent albums. Add their penchant for absolutely sucking their fanbase dry and a poor sales climate you'd think they would have top three in the bag. The single is performing as expected though.
August 13, 201411 yr The Sats have apparently sold 500 albums from Tuesday to Wednesday, single will likely end up low Top 30 by the end of the week. What an absolute disaster.
August 13, 201411 yr The Sats have apparently sold 500 albums from Tuesday to Wednesday, single will likely end up low Top 30 by the end of the week. What an absolute disaster. Eh. I mean it's awful but I don't think the word "disaster" exists in the Saturdays' lexicon anymore. Even if it opened with like 15k it'd still be frontloaded and miss a Silver cert, so this is just "Oh it's a pity it couldn't have gone slightly less bad". Realistically the Greatest Hits was never going to be a big thing, it would have just been nice to sell at least some copies. Living For The Weekend was a catastrophe, whereas this is just kind of an irrelevant disappointment.
August 13, 201411 yr Author Sales added. The Saturdays have sold over 800 copies of their GH since yesterday.
August 13, 201411 yr The Sats have apparently sold 500 albums from Tuesday to Wednesday, single will likely end up low Top 30 by the end of the week. What an absolute disaster. I think their single will end up low Top 40 on Sunday. :drama: They are plummeting on iTunes and don't forget the streaming weekend effect. What are you waiting for Sats loons to download it several times? :kink: Edited August 13, 201411 yr by Jason
August 13, 201411 yr WOW at the Sats flopping. :o :o :o :o It's a good album...! Lots of hits well worth it. All the singles were popular. I thought they'd be No.2 with the fan pre orders as well. Sadly i think this spells the end of the Sats. If you cannot sell the GH then you really are doomed...! I can see a Wanted esque announcement soon.
August 13, 201411 yr I doubt they'll announce it - what would be the point? At best they'll announce an "hiatus". At worst they'll just let it all fizzle out a la Sugababes.
August 13, 201411 yr Should this thread not be renamed The Sarurdays prediction thread? Anyway I'm going to change it up a bit. I was hoping to see the fantastic Gaslight Anthem get a number one album but looks like number two is the best they'll manage again. Hopefully Twin Atlantic will hang onto a top 40 position. In my opinion they're another very underrated group.
August 13, 201411 yr Should this thread not be renamed The Sarurdays prediction thread? You can't surely be surprised, it's like this whenever they release anything and as this is the last week they will ever release a note of music tensions are running high.
August 14, 201411 yr Eh. Handled properly, the greatest hits could have been a turning point for them. Girls Aloud were really not in the best position after their third album 'Chemistry', but somehow they managed to get a million-selling greatest hits and after that their two last studio albums were big.
August 14, 201411 yr I'm not sure if Am i Wrong Will Hold On to the number one sales for Tuesday were neck and neck so if magic can catch up on d loads then it might return to Number 1 due to streams
August 14, 201411 yr I don't know if it's just me, but I can't seem to find anywhere which has the Album Update for Wednesday in full, not even the OCC website Anyone?
