Amazing to see "Anaconda" almost top 100 without any major airplay support!

Iggy/Rita - Black Widow  7 (back to it's current iTunes peak)

Katy Perry - This Is How We Do  32

5 Seconds of Summer - Amnesia  34

Paolo Nutini - Iron Sky  47

Slipknot - The Devil In I  49

Fabulous jumps for Iggy, Katy and 5SOS following the VMAs! (not that Katy performed but the song had pretty good exposure during it)

Ooh can Iggy finally go top 10 officially?!

If it gets airplay (which I think it will now), I am almost certain it will be a #01 for her.

134. This Is How We Do - Katy Perry feat. Riff Raff

could give it a boost into the top 40 :cheer:

Wait, she actually released that mess?! :drama:

Here's a revolutionary idea imagine it was just freely available for people to buy as they discovered it and naturally climbed the chart if and when it got airplay/promo :P

I did think she would fail to ever get a proper hit after Pills N Potions tbh. Thrilled for her though, I would love if Nicki FINALLY got a #01!
I can see why they're taking a different approach after what happened with 'Pills N Potions'...

I'd say they did that after what happened with Starships though. She just doesn't feel as popular anymore - so maybe a held back big hit is a good decision. I think Anaconda would have been a hit no matter what!

I don't think Anaconda will go to #1. It doesn't sound like a song radio can really get behind which will probably hurt its sales a bit.
I see Ben Howard has his single at 83 & the album grat version at 79 - do they both count for the chart?

No idea, like with Chris Brown's album the album pre-order was put up with more than one instant grat ('End Of The Affair' is also an instant grat) so there's no way to tell.

Oh I thought they were released at different times, wonder if anyone has the top 200s from chart plus to see where it charted last week?!

I dont see how it is different from the likes of Talk Dirty and Smack That? (I dunno why they were the first that came to mind lol).

there isn't any singing in the song, most rap songs need a vocal hook to be big (the last rap #1 with no singing was Boom Boom Pow back in 2009)
