Set to drop by the end of this month. It's the lead single from his forthcoming debut album.

I bet nobody saw this collab coming and I wonder if this means 'Animals' and 'Wizard' will be left off the album Avicii style?

;o

  • sorry for bumping such an irrelevant and never-happening unreleased collab, but why were they walking backwards in NYC recently...

I assumed it was a reference to the song title.

  • The commercial fall off of Martin Garrix is a very interesting one. Of course when Animals blew up he had ALL the hallmarks of a classic one-hit wonder but he managed to stretch out a pretty successfu

So the Ed Sheeran collab's gonna finally surface then? Interested as to how this turns out, as Ed Sheeran's never been on a dance track before.

I'm pretty sure all of Garrix's singles up to now have been non-album singles, because he has released quite a few. He could basically release an album of all the songs he's released so far but an album of new material will obviously be a better idea.

I think Avicii made the right move in not adding any of his years prior hits to the album, so hopefully Martin Garrix will follow suit.

Interested to hear this collaboration actually, think it could do really big things.

Leaving I Could Be The One off the album was very unwise IMO!

That was such a jam, but I'm not fussed because we got another new song in its place! ^_^

Very excited to see how this will turn out, I know I'm being incredibly optimistic here but I could see this selling up to 150k first week if they hold it back and give it proper promo.

Didn't see this coming, I can't wait to hear it as Martin's not released a track with a vocal before and Ed's not done vocals on a dance track before!

Really hope this doesn't disappoint! On name alone this could be a huge number one but I'll reserve judgement until it premieres!!

So this finally has been played for the first time at the Ultra Music Festival!

Skip to 13:25! Sounds much better than I expected! :D

BIGGGGG

I think this could be Martin Garrix's second UK #1 actually, people love Ed Sheeran right now and the song is sounding really good!

Based on this, Don't Look Down and Forbidden Voices the album should be truly amazing

I'm guessing with all his post-"Forbidden Voices" singles on an EP themselves, his album will be consistent with that? It's what I'm getting with this track :D

It sounds amazing

Already loving the sound of this track, got to be an obvious contender for a summer number one!

Definitely the strongest of the 3 tracks I've heard from Martin so far though I hope he doesn't go down the David Guetta road of just releasing big name collaborations and still releases big tunes like Animals and Wizard

Expected a lot better. "Forbidden Voices" is incredible and I've really grown to like "Don't Look Down", though again it's sadly the vocals that let that track down a bit. Would be nice to see Garrix grab a third T10 hit after "Animals" and "Wizard" though, so fingers crossed.

would they actually release their collab a near-decade after it originally got recorded and shelved I wonder?

not that the delay was so long for David Guetta 'Blue' but if it worked for him...

Both artists use x and + symbols of course!

Why was the collab never officially released?

Record label politics I think

Guess the walking backwards could symbolise that they're going back in time to the collab, which means it's finally getting released? Or would that be too obvious?
