Alecia Moore (P!nk) & Dallas Green (City and Colour) have come together to form You+Me. The new album, titled "rose ave." is due out on October 14th. (RCA Records)

Their official website has launched here.

The song 'You and Me' will be available to download tomorrow along with the pre-order of the album. I'm not sure if it's a proper single so I won't make a new thread for it until its confirmed.

'You and Me' is beautiful. This is a complete surprise to me that she's worked on a collaborative acoustic album, but I'm loving the sound of it!

This is gonna bugger up my lastfm :(

Still....NU MOOOZACCCC *.*

She totally excels with this style of music  and their voices blend so well together.
Just bought the song from iTunes and pre ordered the album, this is all so exciting, this is the Pink I've been waiting for since the end of the Try This era, can't wait to hear the rest of the album!

What an amazing surprise! You and Me sounds boring at first listen but new material is always welcome and I'm sure it'll all grow on me in the end because it's P!nk. I just hope this doesn't mean her actual album is put off by another year (meaning 2016 or something).

You can scrobble it under P!nk, I know I will :kink:

that should have said i will pre-order the album  I had planned to pre-order it when i got up this afternoon, but changed my mind, just pre-ordered the vinyl (only 1000 made!!! ). When the album is released I'm going to finish work at 6am, get the bus into manchester and actually go into a shop and buy it on the day its released, like the good old days

God bless me only having College till 1 on a Monday  can hobble into town for it.
What a complete surprise! I love You + Me, but it does have 'The Common Linnets' written all over it though
Very much looking forward to this, I love P!NK and her voice is just incredible

wow, I love this. Their voices blend perfectly. Definitely getting Common Linnetts vibes from it which imo isn't a bad thing :P

Can't wait for next P!nk album though, it feels like forever since Blow Me & Try came out now.

Question for everybody.... Is this it for Pink now, do you think she will leave P!nk behind for a while (or maybe for good?!?) and concentrate more on being Alecia Moore in you+me?

Also does anybody think this will tour? Not sure how an acoustic tour would come off in arenas, and if its small venues, while that would be my absolute dream, can you imagine the chaos with the ticket sales?? it was bad enough for the arena tour

I think it'd be lovely if she did an intimate tour around February-March and then focused on her P!nk album for an October release. You+Me has to be a one-off.

I hope so, she was in real danger of becoming very stale in her music. TTAL was a big step down in quality from Funhouse and I think the public will tire of her soon.

This is a good way to still be making music and being in the spotlight.

There's definitely a market out there for this sort of music especially in Europe as The Common Linnets' incredible success in much of Europe proves this! Obviously they had the Eurovision platform to help them but if You+Me promote this a lot then I think it could become very successful in Europe as well as the US where I think the acoustic country sound will already do well anyway.

TTAL was more succesful than Funhouse, as it sold more copies and had more hit singles.

I do agree that it was a big step down in quality though, and she needs to take it up a notch or two.

I thought it had sold alot less, oops.
