Years on hiatus, then 2 albums in the space of 2 years. I was expecting to wait until at least 2015.

 

In any case, I'm not complaining.

 

 

Very much where one would expect they'd go following My Songs Know... as a lead, but that direction is very good. Looks like it could be another strong lead off for them, both musically and commercially. :D

Those colours give me epilepsy.

Uma Thurman and Novocaine are absolute tunes. Barely a filler on there actually.

Oh yes, I should have listened to it, I was enjoying 'Uma Thurman' a lot but I took a listen to 'The Kids Aren't Alright' half-expecting/hoping for an Offspring cover and came away disappointed.

 

So I've heard about half of the album, I'll probably hear the rest at some indeterminate point in the future. (although I should at least listen to Novocaine then)

I still really love Centuries but I have to say my favourites from the album are 4th of July and Twin Skeletons :heart: :wub:

 

Then again I also love Uma Thurman and Irresistible... I love the whole album tbh ^_^

I've just found out what the sample in Fourth Of July is, it was bugging me and I knew I'd heard it before, and it turns out it's (known as retro Skall entry) Son Lux - Lost It To Trying!!! That's inspired.

 

Having heard the album a few times now it's definitely not as bad as I was fearing and indeed it's really quite good, Immortals and Fourth Of July are highlights, while Novocaine I think is already up there among Fall Out Boy classics

'Irresitable' has already been a single, I guess this is technically a rerelease. :lol:

 

EDIT: Just listened to the Demi version, Demi sounds really out of place to me and doesn't really add anything. I'll stick to the FOB only version thx.

I'm obsessed with Irresistible! :heart: Great idea to have Demi on the track to open themselves up to a new fanbase.

A remix album entitled 'Make America Psycho Again' is being released on Friday. 11 songs from the original album have been mixed with guest vocalists including the likes of Azealia Banks, Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Ferg.

No sign of the Demi version of Irresistible though which is odd.

It includes the Boyz Of Summer remix of "Uma Thurman"! :cheer:

I'm too used to the non-Demi version but she's doing a good job here. I had no idea they were releasing a second video for it actually.
