Her new single just got it's premiere on Radio 1.

 

On first listen it's really good :D

 

This is MUCH better than 'Giant In My Heart' for me. I'm back on the Kiesza express.

Completely echo that comment. Hideaway was one of my songs of the year but Giant In The Heart was very disappointing. This is pretty much bang in the middle of them just now for me, but it is a great pop song.

 

Good work Kiesza.

I f***ing love it, the build ups, the last breakdown the high pitch - it's like a rollercoaster ride of perfection. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png I don't see anything she puts out now being as big as 'Hideaway', I see this being her 'Broken Record' but hopefully I'm wrong!

Well on first listen it's definitely not as good as the power duo of Giant In My Heart/Hideaway but it was always gonna be tough to keep up that really high standard.

 

Still a great tune though, I'm sure I'll be really loving it soon.

Bits of it remind of Robyn and Kleerup's 'With Every Heartbeat'; other parts remind us of about half of the best dance smashes of the early-to-mid-1990s (and a few from the late-80s, too). It trundles along quite splendidly for the first 48 seconds but that euphoric "if we could all fall in love together" chorus is total perfection.

 

This is Kiesza's best single to date; it precedes her forthcoming album 'Sound Of A Woman' and - we're sure this is no accident - feels like the first real sign that we should all be getting very, very excited about a Kiesza album.

It's easily the most instant/catchy on first listen for me, really like the hooks. I really grew to love "Giant In My Heart" though so right now it's behind that but ahead of "Hideaway" which I never got on board with.

Not bad for my first listen of this, it's going to be a grower I think

 

Though one thing bothers me...that Pop Justice review in what way does this track remind them of the epic tune that is With Every Heartbeat?!?! Nothing or no one can ever come close to that track!

This is more instant than 'Giant In My Heart' was, but I've now grown to love that so this is currently my least favourite of the 3. But of course that may change once this has been given time to grow, still a good song on first listen!
