Released in August 1997 as the lead single from her 3rd album "Girl" and also marked a change in sound and image, with a much more dance/club sound which shaped up the rest of her career, and a blonde sexier image, it seemed that Dannii had finally found her own sound and niche, and therefore finally put her into the big leagues, (although further releases did slump, as did the album), but for the moment it was Dannii's time to shine. The song peaked at #4 in the UK becoming her highest charting hit at the time, and best selling single. In Australia it became her 2nd highest charting single, peaking at #11 and plus this also marks the first release on new record label Warner Brothers Music Group, which was seen as a major relaunch to her career. September 22, 201410 yr GOD DAMNIT REGINA, THAT IS YOUR FAULT! What is it you hate about 'I Begin To Wonder' so much? It was definitely the song which made me sit up and take notice of her, electrifying and masterful. 'So Under Pressure' is my second favourite, 'Everything I Wanted' is majorly underrated and beautiful and the 'Groove' version of the other one is the only one I listen to now. Perfect combo. I don't even know :lol: SO many people hail it as her best but it's but...there for me. So Under Pressure WAY too low :( as is All I Wanna Do.
September 22, 201410 yr Author pEoSutwUndM 04 // Disremembrance // Girl // Avg: 8.875 Highest Rates: 11 fgi90505, J*hnkm 10 gooddelta Lowest Rates: 6.5 Nick F1 At #4 and the last of the Girl era to drop is the wonderful and lovely "Disremembrance" which surprisingly the most popular Girl single on this rate, despite scoring a lot lower than "AWD" due to one less rate, this managed a much higher average due to it's overwelming scores of 2 11's, 1 10 and then mainly 9's and 8's. Released in March 1998 as the 3rd single from her 3rd album, it won praise with critics and Dannii fans alike, but didn't quite connect with the record buying public as it charted just outside the UK top 20 at #21, becoming her 13th single to chart and performed much worse in Australia as did most of her singles, limping in at #53, and due to this and poor album sales, it caused her getting dropped from her second record company, and wouldn't release any new material in the UK until 2001. But on the upside "Disremembrance" still remains one of her best loved songs amongst Dannii's fanbase, making this a cult fave.

Released in November 2001, just 2 months after big sis scored the mammoth "CGYOOMH", it seems that Dannii was making her mark again, by becoming a surprise smash hit, due to an overwelming responce and massive airplay, the song charted at #3 in the UK charts becoming her biggest hit of her career, with 9 weeks in the top 40 7 of which spent in top 20, and 15 weeks overall, becoming her longest span on in the UK. The song was also successful worldwide, becoming a rare feat for her, as she never really impacted worldwide before by charting in the top 10 in Belgium (Flanders) and top 20 peaks in Danish, Finnish, Germany, Romania, Australia (her first in 5 years), Spain and Ireland, while making top 40 in Austria, Sweden, Dutch and Swiss. Therefore making her pressence known again and would be the start of a successful run of hits for the next 5 years.
