Lillywood And Robin Schulz

Prayer In C

Prayer | 2014

If anyone was wondering (I guess not many people but maybe...) I didn't put Lilly Wood and The Prick's album Invincible Friends in the info because the original song was charting separately from the Robin Schulz version (so they weren't combined). It is odd but I guess it was because of the crediting (Lilly Wood and thr Prick vs Lillywood & Robin Schulz)

Wow at those number ones, 7th for Calvin and a 3rd for John, I hope Calvin can get a 4th consecutive number one

This release has just been handled so brilliantly a well deserved number one

PIC still sounds so beautiful, definitely one of my tracks of the year!

A shame Lilly Wood couldn't hang on. Not really a big fan of Blame on the one listen I've had of it - John's vocals sound a bit strained and the song is a bit too similar to Sweet Nothing structure-wise. Summer was a lot better.

Biography

Stephen Paul Manderson (born 27 November 1983), better known by his stage name Professor Green, is a British rapper and singer-songwriter. He was signed to The Beats, a record label run by Mike Skinner and Ted Mayhem, until 12 February 2008, when the label terminated. He rose to success upon winning the inaugural JumpOff MySpace £50,000 battle rap tournament in July 2008. Following this in 2009, Professor Green worked with Lily Allen on her 2009 concert tour.

In 2006 he released his first mixtape, Lecture #1. After his first record label, The Beats, went under he produced on his own an EP called The Green EP. After he toured with Lily Allen he was signed to Virgin Records and released "I Need You Tonight" featuring Ed Drewett, based around INXS's "Need You Tonight" through the label. He also joined up with Allen on his second single "Just Be Good to Green", which is based around The SOS Band's "Just Be Good to Me".

In July 2010, Professor Green released his debut album, Alive Till I'm Dead, which features guest vocals from Lily Allen, Emeli Sandé, Fink, Labrinth and Example, as well as The Streets. He followed this with the album At Your Inconvenience in October 2011. - Wikipedia

A 13th number one for Calvin Harris :cheer: Amazing success. And what a song to get the achievement with too, Blame is great

Also yay for John Newman getting his 4th #1 and continuing his relevance.

Actually Blame is growing on me, its a bit like his collaboration with Rudimental
Including songs Calvin has produced, this would be his 11th #1 right? (including Holiday, Spectrum (Say My Name), Call My Name, and I Will Never Let You Down)
YASSSSSS CALVIN DID IT AND PROVE US ALL WRONG!

I knew he could do it, I backed this for number one and he's done it in such a creative way.

So happy with this weeks result but I am dreading the drop next week though I think it will only drop to 3/4 as Pro Green wont have great streaming sales so I think he could do a Ten Walls and end up at 6

Though next weeks all about Paloma finally getting her first number one, so excited!!!!!!

God, this guy has an awful voice. Effectively one note, just at different volumes.

His 11th number one single, yes. His 13th number one in total when you include his 2 #1 albums.

What song am I missing? It's bugging me  I thought he's only had 3? :(
