Shocked at D'yermak'er that low, but the odds suggested so much better! :o :)

Great hosting Bre, congratulations James and thanks to everyone who voted for Shannon! :D

Didn't you give 0 points to Jamvale as well?

Closing ceremony with any luck should be starting at 6pm tomorrow and will feature a countdown of the semi-final results by Persephonian President Salim Zosimus and a super special guest host, none other than President Kate Mulgrew of Jamvale :magic:

The ceremony will also include a few exclusive live performances (that you'll have to imagine) and of course the official handover to Jamvale ahead of BJSC LXIX in (presumably) Sgarameet.

congrats James!! don't like the song at all tho (probably the worst winner in all the time I've been participating) but you can't have everything. not really feeling that top ten outside of a couple

superb hosting Bre, such detail! *.* particularly loved the red tide

Syndare back with powah powah next month (as usual I have nothing rn~)

That RED TIDE is quite the innové

god tho bré couldn't you have just shifted the yehesian vote last to MAINTAIN SUSPENSE

(are we REALLY still doing EDM winners with euphoric synth riffs as the hook? IT IS NOT 2011 ANYMORE)

oh and true to every other month i am back with POWAH POWAH for LXVIII

and i may even vote if i qualify for once

And since Eagles For Hands have gone and done a Moya, watch out for Persephonia next month :D

If anyone has done a Moya it's Cathedrals! Though they didn't have the luxury of AQing Florina went from 2nd place to flop, but a win could be on the cards for them in Jamvale :o

Speaking of Jamvale :cheer: I was underwhelmed with the contest as whole but 'In Your Arms' is by far my favorite Jamvale entry that I've heard and I'm pleased to see it victorious instead of 'Shatter Me'! Congrats James, I think you'll be a brilliant host!

Speaking of host :cheer: An incredible effort from Persephonia! Looking forward to tomorrow :D And seeing some newbies in the top 10, yass

▲ 01 03 ~ 078 ~ { Cumulonimbia } Fuck Buttons - Surf Solar {+3}

Could we just FREEZE IT HERE. Never would I have ever imagined that a drone track would be #1 after 25 votes in a BJSC final.

Cumulonimbia actually finished bottom of my votes, it just sounded like noise.

No.

shame the overall quality of that final was grim. did no-one want to send a song with anything more than a moth fart of a melody???????? when did i turn into grebo??????????

I thought it was the best in time!

But I'm listening to the winner again and oh my. It was merely forgettable when I was listening to it alongide 30 other tracks but as a winner it's offensively AWFUL. It comfortably beats Zara Larsson and Fibes, Oh Fibes as the most forgettable winner since I returned in 2011.

I can't decide if Fuck Buttons topping the leaderboard during the same contest and having a really high quality final makes it more painful or if that makes up for it.

P.s. Yu I'm sorry for not actually voting for your song and teasing you for MINUTES that I might've done, but you so very nearly got points and I was a bit outraged at how incredulous you were at the possibility of me giving you some :o If Manboob can, anyone can.
