I say Ricky got it wrong choosing Emmanuel over Classical Reflection and Letitia over Vikesh.

Tom got it wrong on 2 counts. Choosing screeching Lara over Kim and I think he must have chosen Sasha over Lisa because of her tears. Lisa wiped the floor with her.

Great that Will kept Esmee.

I actually really liked Brooklyn and enjoyed her take on Let It Go which was very interesting, I know she wasn't the best vocalist in the competition but I was hoping Will would like her because she's a bit different.

 

Both Team Rita and Team Will seem very strong though.

This really was her last shot and she blew it like that

Esmee was awful, most of the others were better than her in the knockouts. Will has a very strong team, Rita less-so but also quite strong.

I seem to the only one who thought Esmee was great last night, her vocals were lovely. I am so gutted she didn't make it through but I can kind of see why Will picked who he did.

 

Rita's choices were awful apart from Karis tbh, the fact that she let go of D'Twins and Hannah (who really gave Leona style vocals last night) over the two average boys was a bit of a joke tbh. She doesn't have a clue.

 

Can we talk about Sheena's performance though? By certain the performance of the series, blew everyone else out of the water. Really reminded me of when Christina came through last year and no one could touch her vocally. We better hope that she doesn't have the same fate as Christina though :(

AUTUMN?! She was AWFUL. The other two were the best two of Ricky's team though so I agree there.

Only just watching yesterday's but I'm quite frankly appalled Rita binned off Liss :drama: her and Karis were the only ones I really enjoyed from team Rita. She was clearly voting with somewhere other than her ears for Joe. Clark was awful too, not that he was great beforehand.

Autumn was great in the two rounds previously but that was one of the worst performances I have ever heard on a show like this.

 

I am glad she was given a second chance as she can be great, she was actually in my top 3 favourites before tonight. She was very very lucky to get through.

Just finished last night's episode and will watch today's tomorrow.

 

Very glad Sheena went through, she was by far my fave! Brooklyn was the only one I was really sad to lose but she was a bit hit and miss, not dependable really. Esmee too I guess... She did perform well but I can see why Will didn't choose her, it was still a bit safe and plodding, it didn't show off her full talent imo.

I thought the guy who Will put on his team, the call centre worker, was good, good voice but is so dull IMO. He could be just like the other winners and do nothing at all I thought Essmee or Broklyn should be their instead tbh :lol:

Team Tom are the worst - Can't stand any of his final 3 -- I thought Claudia & Olivia should have gone through instead of shouting Lara & cry baby Sasha.

Team Will - Esmee should have gone through instead of Vikesh.

Team Rita - Can't stand Clark but the other 2 are not bad.

Team Ricky - Autumn was poor last night. But Emmanuel was great - Steve so-so

Rita's choices were honestly mortifying... It was so patronising the way in which she chose Clark who didn't hold a single note in tune over Hannah and DTwinz. I felt bad for everyone on her team that wasn't chosen after that. Karis is still by far the best in the competition though but it was pretty inexcusable choosing Clark and Joe to an extent over some of the other singers. I'm not really a fan of anyone else left in the competition, I like Autumn to an extent but she wasn't at her best this week.

What a terrible set of results all in all :( Of the final 12 I only really like Sheena, Karis, Sasha and perhaps Autumn but she really was terrible last night. Ricky's two guys are good too but I don't fully really like them or want them to win badly or anything.

 

I would have gladly had the three Ricky binned off in place of most of those who did get through, especially Hannah :(

Surprised loads of people thought Esmee should've gone through - she wasn't great and really only got to where she was because she was friends with Will. I imagined she was nailed for a 2nd place finish in his team (due to Will saving her), but was glad he binned her off in favour of Vikesh; who is frankly brilliant.

 

Team Tom is a little odd IMO, I like Sasha and Howard sort off but as a whole it's not the strongest.

 

Team Rita I like; Karis is fantastic and I thought Joe stepped it up a lot too. Clark I thought was great in the battles but meh in the knockouts.

 

Team Ricky is good.. however I don't think Autumn was all that great at the knockouts and was one of the weakest of the girls. Glad to the two blokes went through; Emmanuel in particular is amazing.

I thought Sasha's performance was pretty poor. She was clearly very nervous. Tom may have chosen her because he knows she can do better. However, can she do it on live television?

Change of format for the live shows:

 

Each judge gets to pick a fast pass from their team ie one team member automatically avoids the phone votes and goes straight through to the semi-finals.

 

Out of the remaining 8 contestants, the public will vote to save them and 4 will progress into the semi-finals as well. HOWEVER, it does not matter whose team you are on at this point unlike in previous years. Any four of the 8 contestants can go through, which could mean that a coach only has their fast pass in the semi-final.

 

That's a MUCH needed change of format and it decreases the chance of a random winner :lol:
