My dad was diagnosed with alzheimer's this year so the Sylvie scenes were quite stressful to watch.

Oh Toby :( that's awful, sorry to hear that.

And Aunt Babe, she knows!

I'm sorry to hear that, hope you and your family are all okay!

I did think the scene where Sylvie was in the market on her own well thought through, I could start to feel what her character was going though.

Oh yeah, forgot her

I've never really picked up on Yvonne's tea making habits when watching but I did tonight and it did make me laugh! Replacing Dot already!!

GOD knows how many Carter family secrets (I think it has got to the point now where I've literally lost count) are going to come out this Christmas, it's just bloody ridiculous

Anyway, it was a good episode but they need to kill Yvonne now. SHE MADE TEA AGAIN!?!

Same! All I'm going to be doing when Yvonne's on screen now is waiting for her to make cups of tea

Slyvie is Tina and Shirley's mum, but Shirley is Mick's mum except only she (and Stan?) knows that.

I don't think Stan knows. Only Shirley, Aunt Babe and Sylvie knew the truth AFAIK.

I'm sure he does - I seem to remember that being the reason why he covered for Shirley attempting to drown Mick as a baby.

She's gonna be lost without Janice to call Janice.
Why wasn't Yvonne making tea tonight?
 Nick & Yvonne are actually gross. I can't wait for Dot to walk in on them tomorrow...her reaction will be priceless!
Nick was shouting on her to make tea when Phil got him

I'm calling an "ooh, I say!".

I'm calling an "ooh, I say!".

Followed by Yvonne offering to put the kettle on.

I'm sure there's a Ronnie 'it's KETTLE' joke in there somewhere but I can't place it.
