I am on the verge of getting obsessed with this song and video now. Very very lovely stuff on both fronts, it's really very much what they should be doing, and I was initially disappointed after expecting some next-level left-field to follow Salute. That wouldn't be doing so well on pre-orders, and I'm glad it's looking like a massive hit for them, would be a very pleasant #1. Because despite the 'Black Magic' dress-up, it's really very 'white, wholesome magic' in its presentation. And I don't mind that, Little Mix do light pop very well.

Still as high as 66 on iTunes. I can't believe how massive this is going to be for them. With Girlbands fizzeling out all over the world, for the UK especially, Little Mix was all we had. Though they had a perfectly succesfful campaign with Salute, there were signs that they could soon start to fade. But it looks like they've come back stronger than ever. This could possibly spend weeks at #1

It would be fantastic if this could spend longer than a week at number 1. When was the last time that happened for a girlband? Sugababes and 'About You Now' back in 2007?

That one would definitely be better than the original. However, the lyrics are so self centres and the vocals are a bit off for me.

The US radio adds date has been set for July 14th with Today Show & Teen Choice Awards performances in August! I'm not allowed to post the source as link but it's from Columbia's promo e-mail.

Fingers crossed for Little Mix in the USA, I've seen it's been lingering close to the top 200 without any airplay or promotion at all, so hopefully that's a sign it can do something when it starts to get some.

I think 'Black Magic' will be the breakout song for Little Mix in the USA.

 

It's hanging around incredibly well and they seem to have decent promo lined up.

This came on on my local music channel and I couldn't help but sing and bop along. I love this now

I know I'm hideously behind on this but finally saw the video over the weekend. It's really good! Very Sabrina the Teenage Witch-esque. The single's their best since DNA for me as well - can see this being a hit.
