'God Only Knows' is coming for the Top 10 fast, nice to see a song just pop out of the blue and do amazing like this :heart:

It reminds me of when that stupid '5 O'Clock' thing did so well initially a few years ago, but that left as quickly as it arrived. I hope this has the same fate.

 

Didn't 5 O'Clock have a really slow start? I remember everybody celebrating about it flopping (since that's what it seemed like at first), then it ended up getting #1 for a bit mid-week. :lol: I might be getting it mixed up with another song, but I think it was 5 O'Clock this happened with.

Meh to God Only Knows - the original is great but a 'charity' version with a sh!tload of stars on it - if each and everyone of the featured acts actually gave up just a tiny % of their wealth then there would be no need for a cover version for the charity in the first place.

You say that when it's actually jumped up a lot since yesterday.... :P It was outside the top 200 yesterday and is now #138 in Jase's update, so a big improvement I think.

I'm glad to see Charli now a lot higher in pre-orders than earlier in the week, I need this to at least make the top 10.

 

I still think moving it forward a week was a stupid move.

They've done no promo for it but the video comes out on the weekend which will give it the boost it needs for release week I guess. Not a fan of it myself, the free track "Fireproof" was much better.

Yeah, that's how I remember it - everyone expected it to be a huge entry on Sunday and it wasn't. So it did get to iTunes Number One later in the week but had no chance of getting there officially. And it didn't hang around long either.

Poor song IMO so I wasn't disappointed.
