It's at #6 in the first sales flashes. I hope it stays top 10 by the end of the week, although it'll probably drop due to a combination of the Brit Awards and streaming adversely affecting it.

Should still beat Inform - Educate - Entertain's position :cheer:

I started doing a write-up for Sunday's ramblings yesterday. At least I now know it wasn't a waste of time :yahoo:

I've bought this and quite enjoyed the first run through, a very coherent listen... the obvious comparison is Lemon Jelly's 'Space Walk' lasting 40 minutes.
Had it on the iPod for a week or so, but it's already dropped off. Not bad, but not sure there's the same variety as they showed on their first few releases.

Just saw Public Service Broadcasting live for the 3rd time last night. They were absolutely amazing as expected, the new songs slotted in surprisingly well and they've experimented and changed arrangements slightly of their must beloved old songs. The set was incredible too, bravo all around.

Also, Geoffery's a d***.

Are they still dedicating Everest to the people of Nepal? If so, do they abandon the usual chirpy pre-recorded voice for something more sombre.

BTW, you're two behind me in PSB gigs, assuming I can count their Kaiser Chiefs support slot. Their current set is indeed amazing. I'm still pondering whether to see them at the Brixton Academy.

I've recently started teaching English as a foreign language. Some PSB songs are great to use for exercises because the words are generally very clear. Of course, it is all part of my plan to set them on the path to world domination :D
Congratulations on the new job. My brother's also starting to teach English as a foreign language soon, so I'll suggest that he uses them as classroom learning aids. And who knows, maybe he'll fall in love with PSB too (although his music taste doesn't go beyond Guns & Roses and Iron Maiden. Perhaps I'll start him off with 'Signal 30'?).

Thanks :D I've been using London Can Take It. One way of using songs is to provide the students with the lyrics, but with a number of mistakes. They have to spot the mistakes. I'm not sure Iron Maiden lyrics are clear enough for that

My next PSB-related plan is to use The Other Side.

Public Service Broadcasting have finally uploaded their hilarious public service announcement -

I used this in a lesson yesterday. The class loved it :D

Their tour has been shortened somewhat for what they described as "family and health reasons". Most of the dates have been rearranged for next year. Of the three remaining, I'm going to two - Southampton on Friday and the Brixton Academy on Sunday

The Brixton gig is being streamed live, so there's an opportunity for everyone. The band have promised some "surprises". I can't wait!
