Well, this is one song by her I can listen to all the way through, so quite the gargantuan leap since her last era then! Not too bad overall, but good lord, these Hideaway comparisons are apt! The main chorus line literally sounds identical to the 'Taking me higher than I've ever been before' line in Kiesza's song.

I actually like this, and I did like her first single "Young", but the follow ups were terrible and the album was awful, hopefully she'll be able to bounce back with this and hopefully have better material for the new album
Absolutely love the song but the video is so cheap eughhhh! :puke2: So pointless, she could have done so much more! But I suppose the budget was very cheap by the looks of things...
I don't like the video and the song sounds very much like a copy of hideaway :( I'm not feeling her this era I'm afraid

Single artwork:

This is going to flop isn't it? :(

Looks like it's not getting much airplay and the single isn't in the top 1500 on iTunes.

I actually really like that artwork. This feels like the song she should have released after Young :(. I really hope it isnt too late for her to get a hit, she deserves it so bad.
As cheap as this is, I am really on board. It's no 'Young' but I love how low key and minimal it is production wise and I've always loved her vocal ever since her N-Dubz days. I feel like I can relate with her so well as a person which really draws me to her for some reason and she's f***ing gorgeous too so I hope this is massive for her, she really deserves the break~

I have no idea what "7th Place" means but I'm assuming it means December as Sam Bailey's part also has "6th Place" and she's performing on 6th December, so has she just confirmed an X Factor performance?

They just have the contestant that left the X Factor the weekend before, that's all it means. So it'll be who leaves next weekend.
I believe usually the most recent eliminated X Factor contestant performs at G-A-Y, so it'll be the contestants that finish in 7th and 6th place on this year's series that it'll be referring to (but of course don't know who it is yet).
We put all threads by the same artist in the same genre forum, and Tulisa could easily belong in Pop, Urban and Dance. We'll have to wait and see if her whole new album is dance-influenced and if it is then we'll move her to that genre forum. :D
Oh OK, I can see the whole album being mainly Urban, but a dancey lead single is probably the best choice.
After that absolutely diabolical TFB era, I thought she'd never release a good song. This is actually ok though. It's nothing more than good but then it's still an achievement considering she released such pop turds like 'Young', 'Live It Up' and 'Sight Of You' in the past. I can't see this being anything more than a top 75 smash for her (unless she's on XF) but a decent effort nonetheless.
