Anyone know how high Amelle's single got on iTunes? That kinda came and went!

700something.

*edit - #724, just quickly checked the thread in their forum.

CHVRCHES - Get Away >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bastille - The Driver :(
235 Christina Marie - I'm Coming Home To You

This is doing better than I expected, considering no one knows about it apart from her modest number of Twitter followers

It got played on the "WHATTHEBUCKSHOW" on YouTube, which has over 1 million subscribers. That has probably helped.

Sadly it won't be number one, I would love to see it beat Olly Murs new single but I'd be happy with a top 3 placing

Christmas:

472 Mariah Carey All I Want For Christmas Is You

1033 The Pogues Fairytale of New York

1301 Leona Lewis One More Sleep

These seem to be the only Christmas songs in the iTunes chart at the moment. No Wham etc.

If Leonas 3rd now id exepct her to do fairly well in that case. Though id still expect Wham etc to take over eventually!

It would be nice if Kelly Clarkson could manage the top 100/75 as well this year. But it's unlikely as Underneath The Tree didn't really smash last year and won't be memorable enough, peaked at #30
One More Sleep did a lot better than Christmas Lights though. It made it to number 1 on airplay and spent two weeks in the UK top 3. Christmas Lights did okay but didn't even get top 10.

- But it's peak generally depends on whether the radios give it the odd spin.

Just checked here and Christmas Lights peaked at No5 on the airplay chart on xmas week 2010!

People buying Christmas songs already? it's not even November lol

After Halloween and Bonfire Night are over, isn't there quite a boost to Christmas songs usually?

Yes thats when they all jump into the top 1000/500 as the xmas ads come onto tv with the songs on them and then from dec 1st when tv and radio airplay start!

In an ideal world. I love it so much, much prefer that to 'One More Sleep' (although don't get me wrong, I do like that too).

Is George Ezra's Listen to the Man anywhere in the top 1500? Its music video premiered this morning and Wanted on Voyage has climbed a bit on iTunes albums. :D
Even though I am not a fan of Ed, I am glad it looks like a ballad will be number 1.

I'd imagine the video will be fairly big considering it has Ian McKellan in it - should be another top 20 hit. Although must be said there are stronger songs on the album than Listen to the Man. Videos funny though

EDIT - justhad a look and....

 162. Listen to the Man (also at 1442)

So it looks like the video has had a fairly good effect

Thanks ElectroBoy! Do you know where it was before the premiere? WOV has moved from 13-9 and 28-21 on iTunes Albums. :D And I agree, there are better choices than LTTM; I wanted Cassy O' to be the next single and thought that was the most logical choice, however this will do well. I'd love for it to go top 10 but I think top 20 is reasonable since more people may be drawn to the album.
