Kylie is featuring on the new album by Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

 

'Sirens Of Song' is out on November 24th and track 6 is their collaboration 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go'

 

It premieres on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show, BBC Radio 2 on Monday 3rd November between 8.00am and 9.00am.

 

It'll be interesting to see how different it is from her 'Intimate & Live' version way back

This should be interesting, will be watching out for that

She's clearly been listening to the forum and waorking with other artists.

I wonder if she will do Bette Davis Eyes or Should I Stay or Should I go on Strictly etc..... if she isn't releasing Beautiful?

She's not confirmed to be on Strictly is she? I also don't think she'd perform random tracks from a) someone else's album and b) some random compilation album.

Course she will be on!!!! Surely she will be selling the KMO Euro tour DVD soon....

They're not gonna have her on to promote a DVD (which wont even be likely to come out anytime soon) or to promote an 8 month old underperforming album or a single

that likely wont go top 100.

 

The song is out there, not bad, but I kinda hate the way she sounds in it.

Her fanbase can barely get her own songs to chart, plus the radio 2 audience isn't the sort to download.

Also, are we sure it wont be album only? I will happily be proven wrong, but I don't see it happening.

She would need some promo and I don't think it will happen so probably not... but surely radio 2 will promote the album heavily in the lead up to Xmas so she may get a few sales........

 

 

She's more likely to promote Should I Stay Or Should I Go? rather than Bette Davis Eyes. I can see Jools getting some promo spots and maybe getting her on it.

I imagine she'll do his New Years Eve show again.

For Kylie fans, this is old, old news cos she used to sing a live cover of SISOSIG back in 1988 during the Intimate & Live tour :)

It's a new, different version of the song though, nothing like the I&L version.

Their version is quite sweet; funnily enough the lyrics do fit quite well even though they were originally used in a punk song. I like that slight naughtiness in Kylie's voice.
