What's the James Blunt song? And why?

Cheers!

When I Find Love Again

Why?

Cheryl isn't THAT far ahead, I think it's possible she might miss the #1 (this is assuming those sales in the mid-weeks today are correct and not missing anything).

Yes, and I think there are a lot of missing streaming data too. Tuesday's mids are always a bit vague, the pre-ordered tracks have always a bit of a flying start and they drop on sales by the following days. Joss Stone, James Blunt are both top 40 while they weren't in the iTunes top 40 at all Sunday and Monday.

What's the James Blunt song? And why?

Cheers!

As Martin said, the song is 'When I Found Love Again' and is the first single from his re-release of 'Moon Landing' album which is out next week.

Hoping Calvin Harris can stay Number 1 in the album charts, but I think he'll have to settle for Number 2 unless he can consistently sell throughout the week.

Hope Cheryl and Calvin Harris can hold on, I think Cheryl probably will but not so sure about Calvin.

I love some maths!

So basically we have:

Tuesday Update Top 40 Only

Singles

1 Cheryl (24.6k) * 100%

4 John Legend (10.5k) 43%

Last night (around midnight), this was the breakdown on iTunes :

Cheryl - I Don't Care 0.9751

Cheryl - I Don't Care 0.5710

John Legend - All of Me 0.3855

When combined and weighted we get :

Cheryl - I Don't Care 100%

John Legend - All of Me 25%

It is hard to believe "All of me" is really 43% on Cheryl in the midweeks considering :

* it was only 25% on Cheryl on iTunes at its peak (ie 24 hours after the performance)

* "All of me" only re-appeared up the charts on Sunday evening after the X Factor, while Cheryl had already the whole day of Sunday selling lots (so basically it's like saying Cheryl had 2 full days of selling while John Legend only had one full day).

So yes, it is quite obvious the second version hasn't been counted in today's update.

Yeah I had no idea about the re-release (oops) so wondered if it were a re-entry :)

Not looking good for Calvin I thought he'd have a mega lead but not so!
