I have just watched the video again and I didn't fell asleep, this song will do much better than her previous one :P

It was a lovely performance and sold the song well to me especially as it was my first time hearing. Olly too gave a good one.

 

Will be interesting to see how 'Run' does. Surely top 10 on iTunes is on lock!?

The EP has hit #1 on iTunes and a B-side has made the top 100 so the fanbase are out in force buying the new stuff, there just seems to be absolutely no casual interest in the song itself. I imagine the EP sales and physicals (assuming they have them again) will be enough for it to be at least top 40 but not sure it's even going to reach its original peak with negligible sales of the single track!

Clean Bandit are part of Band Aid 30 though! :P

Won't be surprised if it does turn out to be so. The previous incarnations already did so well, so in this day and age it wouldn't be surprising if it caught up with streaming and pre-orders to overthrow even the likes of Meghan Trainor and her treble bass.

Still not fixed, almost 10 hours now. Hope the issue is rectified before 8am so we can see how Band Aid performed as a preorder following the video's premiere.

Poor Nicole she really has no luck, the higher it would have been on iTunes the more people that would have downloaded it following her performance.

It has nothing to do with the sheer sales of Band Aid 30, iTunes just so happen to be doing maintenance (at the most inappropriate time possible).

People on twitter already calling 1 Direction flops because their album hasn't gone straight to number 1 and talking about Band Aid struggling.

 

It's annoying that iTunes has frozen. I don't agree that Nicole's song is bad. I think it's a nice song and she did an amazing job singing it last night, despite the lack of lasers. It would be great to see the boost she got, it's annoying as she might have started to fall by the time iTunes refreshes.

 

The one good thing I can take from this, is Clean Bandit getting the number 1 effect for longer, it is a stronger song than the other competitors.

 

I'm in two minds about the Band Aid song, I'd like to help with the Ebola crisis, but might donate independently, because that is a really shoddy, rushed song. They could have waited a week or two, polished it up and released it nearer to Christmas with its physical copies.
