Well as it isn't released until the 11th of January, no :P It is pretty much a certain #1 by the looks of things though.

Taylor Swift might get a week I suppose, after her performance on the X Factor final, unless she gets a week in 2014 somehow, and rebounds back to #1 in the new year.

Who is Philip George? Wouldn't normally ask but can't find anything about him...

from the description of the audio on YouTube

Philip George is the latest new talent currently blowing up on dancefloors across the country.

Hailing from Nottingham this 21 year old has been obsessed by music since the age of 7, when he first learnt how to play the piano and the drums. His skills & knowledge can be heard in his productions.

Like many of us, Philip’s love of house music stems from his first visit to Ibiza. Before then he was making drum & bass and a trip with his mates to the white isle and in particular the parties at DC10, Sankeys, Space & Amnesia, ‘changed my life’.

Philip has been making house music for a few years now, predominately to play in his DJ sets.

Wish You Were Mine cleverly uses a familiar vocal from Stevie Wonder – My Cherie Amour. Combined with Philip’s house bassline and melodies this record is growing a life of its own.

It’s already had nearly 1 million plays on Phillip’s SoundCloud, averaging around 30,000 plays a day and is getting more popular as the weeks progress.

On top of this it has already entered the UK Shazam Top 200, where it has climbed for the past three weeks, and is now at number 33. Showing just how much natural demand and love their is for ‘Wish You Were Mine’

Not a bad song, doesn't sound like a #1 though

He's the former chairman of First National Bank, who left when that company was sold to General Electric in 2003. Making records seems a bit of an odd change of direction for him... either that or it's a different person.

Ah thank you, best I could get was his FB page but that didn't really tell a great detail.

Sounds very, very good on first listen though! Would love for this to smash next year.

I'm surprised Take That didn't get more of a boost/lead at the top from Graham Norton, though they probably have still done enough for the number 1 tomorrow.

they were down to number 2 pre GN, 95% of the number 1, they turned that around and have stayed top all day,

time will tell if they've down enough, It wouldn't surprise me if Sir Bob :teresa: pops up addressing the national on X factor tonight, or one of the act cover Band Aid to get the number one back,

Ugh. Wish Nottingham would produce something GOOD (more to my tastes!). :( Jake Bugg, pants. Philip George, generic and boring. Blehhhhh!

That's brilliant news!! Please, it has to happen for her.

Currently #222 and #434.

Update: #189 & #323

'Body Language' up to #42 though. *.*

Oh yes! I forgot about her (oops). But she ain't getting any smashes anytime soon for some unknown reason :( Really hope her new one smashes like 'Crying For No Reason'!
And I guess Nottingham(shire) produced one-fifth of The Wanted (Jay is from Farndon), although I can't remember if you liked them! :kink:

London Grammar though...

Pretty sure Jonjo hates them lol. (For some bizarre reason ~)

One or two tracks, but overall? Nope.

Yes. Have you heard their disgusting, mutilation of the wonderful 'Nightcall'? They can never and will never be forgiven for that. (Everything prior to that was a bore)

Ohhh. I hate being so negative :(

Well to be honest I don't particularly like much of their stuff, some of their songs are rather dull.

But Strong is incredible.

Jonjo you know exactly how I feel about you hating on 'Nightcall' / London Grammar in general. (AKA stop before I warn you ~)
Poor brave Jonjo does have a point though.

Lips Are Movin already popping up on pre-orders http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png

Not you too Chez :o i expected that opinion from The Edge of Glory shading April but not you.

I suspect Jonjo is hacking accounts. More of a reason to warn him. -_-
