December 30, 201410 yr Author Rob: Me too, maybe even my favourite new artist this year perhaps even with Kiesza. Praying 2015 is her year because I'd hate for this album to be scrapped. Calum: I think in time Comeback will become my favourite, so much sass. BS is definitely my favourite of hers but she has a very strong pop discography now so lots of her pop singles are excellent. 22 was my previous favourite. Seven: No more of any of those artists to come oops, hope you like some other stuff though! Tim: I know! That's a very impressive run for my personal chart, I think 11 weeks is the record for most weeks top 10 so weaves could be snatched. Haus: Glad you got round to listening to the album because it's so strong, SIO persuaded me though. Poor lonely starbucks lovers..
December 30, 201410 yr Completely missed that section :o 3 amazing songs  I absolutely adore Blank Space so an obvious :cheer:  for it being here. Definitely one of my favourite Taylor singles and the video is so amazing [and of course I am listening to Taylor right now but I'm listening to the 1st single from the era] Ella deserves to be massive and I hope she somehow breaks out in 2015, If I Go and Comeback both sounded like massive hits and both are amazing

Jay Z) (3-4-6-6-7-10-8-16-18-31-35-44-40-34-44-x) 15 weeks 019. Rude - MAGIC! (13-11-13-11-15-11-8-9-6-2-6-12-28-47-x) 14 weeks 020. Control - Matrix & Futurebound (N/A) Drunk In Love: This song suffered from my chart not being started until February so sadly missed out on an almost certain #1 peak and a 20+ week chart run :( I remember thinking this was so different for Beyoncé yet so fantastic and repeatable. It provided many quotable lyrics such as 'watermelon' and 'surfboart' and everyone knows this song really don't they? Definitely one of my favourite Beyoncé classics and I always get excited when I hear it out and about. This is another one that makes me want to dance around and bop. Rude: First heard this from the US chart when it was creeping up and thought it was excellent, very different for a chart hit too. I like how the lyrics are tongue n cheek and the reggae tinge really adds to my appreciation for the track. Overplay hasn't killed this for me at all unlike others, don't think it ever will either. Control: This was out before my chart even started so no chart run to show here :( One of my favourite drum n bass tracks perhaps ever. The song is just so explosive and the chorus just feels so big and the production is excellent and the vocals and everything about this is really just perfect. Really wish I could place these higher.....
December 30, 201410 yr Drunk in love is very good  I don't really know how control goes again That other horror though :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: NO NO no no no no no no no no :puke2: One of the worst songs this year by miles :puke2:
December 31, 201410 yr Drunk In Love  It's very amazing from Bey  Control is okay but see that rude ooft! Downright shit imo :/
December 31, 201410 yr Author Ultraviolence: The video for Blank Space is excellent I agree, hope she delivers again in that aspect with single three. I agree both of Ella's tracks sound like big hits, not sure what went wrong but I hope she does get a solo hit soon. Rude is really fantastic, hope you enjoy it one day but I won't bet on that :P
December 31, 201410 yr Author http://i.imgur.com/CEV3MbQ.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/17vtyhF.jpg 016. Say You Love Me - Jessie Ware (5-4-6-2-2-1-4-8-7-9-17-30-48-x) 13 weeks 017. Gecko (Overdrive) - Oliver Heldens X Becky Hill (17-22-8-20-1-2-3-1-5-12-26-39-45-50-x) 14 weeks Say You Love Me: From the moment I first heard this I realised it was just such a stunning ballad, her vocals are absolutely perfect and you can just feel the Ed Sheeran influence from it but it all works so well and just leaves you feeling all warm inside. This is the highest ballad in the countdown and perhaps one of my favourite ballads of all time. Gecko (Overdrive): As you can see I did like this at first but took a little while to grow on me, the drop is so refreshing and that's something I really appreciate about Oliver Heldens that all of the drops are excellent. Adding Becky Hill's vocals were a genius move and she has a lovely tone to her voice so it really adds to the song I think. Although I do prefer Koala's instrumental it is clear I much prefer Gecko as a package. Edited December 31, 201410 yr by jsilv

December 31, 201410 yr Author Drunk In Love  It's very amazing from Bey  Control is okay but see that rude ooft! Downright shit imo :/ One of my favourite Bey singles I think but her whole discography is so strong. One of my favourite ever artists. Rude is absolutely fantastic, no one else seems to see it's charm :(

January 1, 201510 yr Author Klingande - Jubel Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz - Prayer In C Faul & Wad Ad vs. Pnau - Changes Any of these at no.1 would be awseome :D Nicki Minaj - Anaconda :puke2: They're all fantastic dance songs, amongst my favourite of the year. Anaconda is amazing though..
January 1, 201510 yr Author http://i.imgur.com/h7RUV7g.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/igvQSuv.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/lg5Gl0O.png 013. Birthday - Katy Perry (16-18-7-1-1-1-2-4-8-15-17-17-22-27-33-42-x) 16 weeks 014. Tennis Court - Lorde (9-10-xx-44-27-12-3-2-3-3-7-10-5-9-10-29-28-44-x) 17 weeks 015. Giant In My Heart - Kiesza (1-1-2-2-14-27-37-20-38-15-19-20-45-x) 13 weeks Birthday: At first I completely thought this was the wrong single choice and it was my least favourite song on the album but what a turnaround, in the end I absolutely loved it and the live performance at her tour was the cherry on top and there was no looking back. This is now one of my favourite Katy singles just because it's unbelievably fun and just great pop music. Tennis Court: This was my least favourite Lorde song for a long time but after it's re-release I fell in love and realised it's charm. The chorus is very strong and it's just packed with everything about Lorde that I love. Feels a bit 2013 to be too high here though. Giant In My Heart: I first heard this and had it on repeat for hours, it was exactly what I wanted as the follow-up from Hideaway. My favourite part is when she belts out the 'oh's near the end of the song because you can feel the song building and it all just feels like such a moment. I still prefer Hideaway though which is still to come.
January 1, 201510 yr I had the same initial reaction and turnaround to Birthday AND Tennis Court. Shame they both underperformed in the end.
January 1, 201510 yr Say you love me is very nice and gecko is great. I also adore giant in my heart  Birthday is ok but should have never have been a single :( Will post my top 12 prediction in a sec :)
January 1, 201510 yr 1. Dark Horse 2. Hideaway 3. Team 4. Black Widow 5. Bang Bang 6. If I Could Change Your Mind 7. Anaconda 8. Timber 9. Jubel 10. I Will Never Let You Down 11. Prayer In C 12. Changes I'd be happy if I got 1 of these predictions right :kink:
January 2, 201510 yr Author Riser: Both of them both should've been smash hits, in the end they were both great singles in my book anyway. Ultraviolence: I thought that about Birthday to begin with too but it's one of my favourites from her now. I can announce you got one of the next two out correct! :P
January 2, 201510 yr Bang Bang is my least favourite remaining. I've really gone off JJ over the years. I miss the Price Tag and Nobody's Perfect/Domino days :( Edited January 2, 201510 yr by Robert S
January 2, 201510 yr Author http://i.imgur.com/8eIVPNU.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/zVzrzeH.jpg 011. Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj (29-10-2-1-1-4-9-17-18-22-30-44-50-48-x) 14 weeks 012. Prayer In C - Lillywood & Robin Schulz (3-2-5-3-5-9-2-6-1-5-7-12-24-x) 13 weeks Bang Bang: On first listen of this I thought it was awful, an unmitigated disaster. Only Nicki's verse saved the song from being a 1/10 really but as it began to receive overplay I found myself quickly falling in love until I realised my mistake and gave in to the huge pop monster that is Bang Bang. All of the ladies are fantastic on this and each make their verses their own adding their own personality to it. Prayer In C: I first saw this recommended on Buzzjack somewhere and thought I'd give it a spin, and I immediately loved it. The production is just so relaxed and the subject matter still shines through and it just leaves you wanting to replay it again and again, and that's exactly what I did. It looked for a while it'd never reach #1 but it did manage to on release week. Not sure why it had such a short run after it's lengthy top 10 run actually.
January 2, 201510 yr Adore 'Tennis Court' - my favourite Lorde single. Was beyond frustrating that it flopped twice! Very nice top 15. Rooting for 'If I Could Change Your Mind', 'Team' 'I Will Never Let You Down' or 'Dark Horse' for the top spot. :D Edited January 2, 201510 yr by Noahspike
