Madonna will release the Diplo produced Living For Love in the New Year. It is described as having a "reggae sound", we have already heard a snippet of it, with the choir in the chorus. It also has Alicia Keys on piano. The video will be shot in new York in January.

CONFIRMED AS LEAD SINGLE

Available to download in the US right now but will be released in the UK later. "I was hoping to release my new single 'Living For Love' on Valentine's Day with the rest of the album coming in the Spring," Madonna said in a statement.

Not sure it's lead single material but I do think it's very good, nice 90s dance influence, reminds me of Kiezsa (who at times reminds me of Madonna ironically).

OK i am actually very excited about hearing that because it's the one song from the 6 new ones that is growing on me the most.

So good to have her back, i'm a WRECK

It's ok and certainly better than the Nicki Minaj collaboration which launched MDNA but its no where as good as the singles from confessions. It actually sounds quite dated.

Yeah I definitely agree with the Kiesza similarity! Obviously my excitement will mean I'll love anything Madonna's recently released, but I do think this is a much better lead single than 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' and the sound of this song sounds so much more polished than most from MDNA.

This is VERY good, I was a tiny bit skeptical of what to expect but for me this is of a high standard, I hope it can somehow against all odds be a hit.

The piano in it is very early 90s (I know it's a lazy comparison to make in this day and age, but still), almost like something from the era of CeCe Peniston's 'Finally', it's a very strong track though. I'm pleased with this!

Really like this! One of my favourites from the new tracks. Not a chance of Radio 1 support and it's 99% likely that Capital will snub her too but I'd love to see it go top 20 at least.
there are a few generic beats in it but I really love this overall, certainly better than any of the singles from the last album for me. Good to have QUEENDONNA back though :D

The bridge before the chorus is EVERYTHING! I also love how the song builds up, it leaves you expectant at the very first verse but by the second one after the chorus you're up moving like a 90's kid!
This is incredible. What has happened to her? She's clearly still out of touch with her image but she's remembered how to actually make good songs. Christmas miracle.
Love this. Is so sad that no matter how strong the song is, she's still going to be in radio airplay hell. It's crazy to think because she's Madonna - the most successful and icon female popstar of all time and she can still make great music. :(
She quite honestly dug her own hole. Most artists who randomly get snubbed can claim some injustice but between the latter Hard Candy singles and everything about MDNA, she has nobody to blame for radio snubbing her but herself. 'Give Me All Your Luvin' would be a flop for Rihanna.
This may be a slight silly question to ask, but as I know Alicia Keys is performing the piano on this... is that her doing those ad-lib parts as the breakdown kicks in?
I was wondering that myself! Sounds like her and certainly isn't Madonna.
