Radio one suck. I want this to do so well now. It's the firs madonna song I've really liked in a few albums. I hope it gets the credit it deserves

When Chvrches were doing their live lounge today on Radio 1 they started basically saying Madonna is still Queen and they don't agree that she's no longer relevant. I felt like it was kinda awkward for Fearne.

Another week on the C list Radio 2?! They keep playing it in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep and not during peak times.

Why the hell is it pushing it back another day to the 26th to be released.

In the hope that there is a major Brits effect?

They played this in the club last night :wub: i almost cried out of excitement lol, was quite the moment. My friends didn't seem to really know what it was but it got a good reaction in general (from what i could make out past my insane dancing to it B-))

This is building the song up for a flop, after doing some actual promo I think that's ridiculous.

Surely that's a mistake? Makes 0 sense not to be available on the day of the Brits performance?

It really is ridiculous and also a huge shame - for a moment we thought management had come to their senses by giving her strong, televised promotion but now it just seems so wasted by yet another stupid release 'strategy'. If they do pull this off, I'll be relieved but it's definitely not something I'd encourage them to do again.

 

Anyway, it's good to hear this has been getting a good reception in clubs. In that environment, people aren't going to think negatively of it just because it's by Madonna as they'll obviously not know who it's by at first.

Thursday 26th is an odd release day. Its certainly going to impact on first week sales. I suspect this will struggle given lack of radio play.

I can't believe they are being so stood and releasing on a Thursday . Releasing today hurts nothing just gets extra sales.

After the Brits performance people will want to download and won't be able to until the next day !!

I'm so annoyed the record label have sabotaged this single so much putting it on Thursday. She'll loose out on a huge amount of sales by not having it available during the Brits.

Her best single since probably 'Die Another Day' for me. :o '4 Minutes' was the last song I really, REALLY loved by her, but this is exceeding that for me (never cared for her 'Confessions' era much/at all (yes, I know how alone I am with that!)).
