It will be 1.6m streams at best I'd imagine, equating to 16k sales.

The Phillip George song is a weird case since it's a rap remix which made that song famous, but it's the original version that going to chart. Usually it's the other way around with songs like Tsunami, Boneless, Dr. Who, etc, where the originals are the ones that get famous but then they put rapping on for the commercial release.

It could be the 2nd song to get #1 on sales but miss out officially. Uptown Funk's streaming will be huge. I kind of wish Uptown Funk was saved until January, since I think it stood a genuine chance at being the year-end #1 in 2015.

 Exactly my thoughts on UF although it could still sell a million copies next year too at this rate. The Phillip George track prob will be held off the top spot by UF as it's released the week of NYE when I'm sure other songs will be streamed more - we could see streaming breaking 60% that week with nye parties.

Will this be the lowest sales yet for an X Factor winner in opening week?
Nah the cd is out Wednesday which will boast it as the download starts to fall it should easily pass Sams sales of 150k and perhaps LM too!

Thats a shame

Kinda pleased to see Wealdstone Raider in the top 10 - the song sounds pretty awful but at least it's a well needed bit of FUN actually making an impact on the Christmas chart, after it initially looked like all the alternatives to Ben Haenow were dead on the ground before they even started.

If only £1 Fish Man had done this well though. (That said he did go on to have a decent amount of longevity, actually peaking the week after Christmas IIRC! Which I don't see happening here :P)

Full of the Christmas spirit you are :)

Or, god forbid, he just doesn't like the awful song :teresa:

Or version of the song should I say, the song is incredible when it's sung by Ryan Tedder.

Nice to see Erasure getting a little lift due to that tube viral singalong - or is it something else?

'A Little Respect'

Is McBusted's 'Get Over It' showing up anywhere following yesterday's video premiere? Lol @ digitalspy calling it the craziest video of 2014 although to be fair it is pretty crazy/brilliant :D
I love that video of the 'A Little Respect' singalong, I wish I was there!

Maybe you can start your own version next time you're on the tube Aly, and see if anyone else joins in

80. Erasure - A Little Respect

569. Devilman - Drum And Bass Father (Feat Badness)

Badness made a tune called "Ina Di Ghetto" with Wretch 32 & Ghetts a few years ago.

Up to 80% for UF now, should be No1 by the end of tonight maybe?
