This era is so eerily similar to the Glassheart era except it's worse.Trouble debuted at #7 on the Uk charts, FUMF #51.Then I remember people saying that Come Alive or Glassheart are gems that will save the era but they never got released as singles.Lovebird was the second single and didn't even chart. Then they never made an effort to promote the Glassheart era in the Usa.Most people knew that the Glassheart song was the song that should have been the big hit.In this new Era people are saying that I got you or ALS are the future big hits. Are we confident that these other songs are gonna get released or is this era gonna be over quickly?

#32 on the UK 7-day rolling airplay chart! Played again by a lot of stations today so far. It's stabilised on iTunes too and stopped freefalling. Hopefully it'll start rising on iTunes once again. :D
Stabilised? It's almost out of the top 100...It's fallen 30 places in the last two days and is #96 in today's midweeks...?

Yes, it's stopped getting dark red updates and falling 5-10 positions at a time. It's remained quite steady the last 5-6 hours so hopefully that's a good sign it's stopped free-falling. I was only referring to iTunes, not the midweeks. She's going to end up quite low come sunday (~150ish I think) unless the song rises a bit on iTunes.

Oh that's because 90 - 100 don't get coloured updates. They all stay white, sadly. So you can't see that they'd probably be red updates.

But even so, it's definitely slowed down/has even risen a little on iTunes just now. So fingers crossed.

I'm surprised positives can be made out of Leona being #98 on iTunes in week 2, lol. I mean it's nice to see the bright side in life generally, but when it comes to how this has done... it's an unmitigated flop. You know at one point Collide going 4-10 was seen as a disaster, so I don't think we can sugarcoat her going 51-out the top 100 with this one.

It hasn't, it's consistently fallen. It's fallen 34 places since last night and has slumped in each update I've been watching.

Not trying to sugarcoat anything, I know it's a disaster so far and seen enough negative/meltdown posts on her thread in digital spy. I'm just still hoping that it will somehow manage to hang on a bit on iTunes for a few weeks as airplay is still rising, although not so sure about streaming (spotify hasn't updated in a few days).

It's stayed stable for the last few hours or so around #96-#98. It dropped to 98, rose to 96 and now back down to 97. It's defnitely dropped a lot, but it looks like it's stopped dropping at least momentarily.

Leona has more promotion coming up it seems in the next week or so, so hoping that'll help the song out. She'll be on BBC Radio 5 tomorrow and has a Q&A session and I assume more as well.

Also to note the song is at #38 on US Viral Top 50 on spotify which is promising if they decide to push the song in the US.

It will almost certainly miss top 100 this week then and probably won't recover. So sad really.

It's got another week on radio 2 playlist - so I'm just being thankful that it's slowly getting her name back out there. By the time single 2 is ready there might be slightly more buzz.

Island need to be less careless upon the next release. Leona isn't a name like Florence anymore, she can't just randomly release songs knowing it'll pick up great airplay and support and recover nicely over the weeks.

They need to

A) pick a better song.

B) hold back the release properly and have the song released when Airplay is high. - The best way for Leona to pick up commercial support is to get the song charting high on iTunes and officially.

Starting to fall again, down to #103.

Leona will be on BBC Radio 5 and BBC Radio London tomorrow. Plus the Q&A so I assume a lot more promotion to come in the next week or so in the build up to the impact date. I really hope it'll somehow help the song out.

Good news - hopefully she's got more of those smaller slots lined up over the coming weeks.

#105 in midweeks.

Debuts at #45 on Billboard's Dance/Club songs chart. :cheer: I'll update the first post with chart info tomorrow. :)

Mel B's 'For Once In My Life' peaked at #2 on that chart! :kink:

'Fire Under My Feet' was the 159th* best selling song based on Wednesday sales alone, with those 333 sales. I guess tomorrow she may be somewhere within the 111-120 region of the midweeks.

* Out of 192 songs. 8 of the Top 200 didn't state Wednesday only sales.
