I stan this bitch but yeah she can't really sing  She has such a lush tone on Good For You for example though. On record it's fine but most people are fine on record, she has killer pop tracks very often and that's why I love her.

As for the actual album, so many tunes <3 Hands To Myself is an absolute jam, I love the way it builds a bit subtly, and Sober is an absolutely astounding pop song plus I love the tropical house vibes of Survivors and I'd say the title track is the weakest track but I think it's just an intro thing. There's soooo much great production on here that really bring the songs alive.

04 Revival (really weird, it would be better off being like a minute long as an intro)

08 Kill 'Em With Kindness

10 Hands To Myself

08.5 Same Old Love (don't care, still love this! Definitely her Gentleman though, in that I don't entirely get the hate but it's a horrendous single choice over other songs on the album)

10 Sober

11 Good For You (still one of the top 3 songs of the year, sfg)

08 Camouflage (such a lovely little ballad despite her not being the best vocalist; it stays within her vocal range and she doesn't push herself on it)

08.5 Me & The Rhythm

09.5 Survivors

07.5 Body Heat

06.5 Rise

08.5 Me & My Girls

05 Nobody

06.5 Perfect

09 Outta My Hands (Loco)

06.5 Cologne

SUCH a good album! Overall I actually much prefer it to Stars Dance. Swap Rise and Revival with Outta My Hands/Me & My Girls on the standard edition and then just ditch the others and it'd be pretty perfect <3

06.0 Revival - I agree with Liam, this goes on way too long and should just be a short intro.

Not perfect but it's solid, the run of tracks from Kill Em With Kindness to Camouflage is superb

I like a couple of songs by Selena but this album reaffirms her status as the basic bitch of Disney Pop. Shame as Good For You kicked things off so nicely. Demi >>> Selena.

Me & My Girls, Good For You, Same Old Love, Sober, Nobody and Camouflage are the standouts for me but this really is a sublime album.

Miles ahead of Stars Dance for me, even with the lack of a Slow Down.

It's a nice album and most likely a grower, but it's nowhere near the pop perfection of her first 3 albums for me. It's about on the level of Stars Dance, which is still good but just not as great as the Scene albums!

The album is decent enough, but I probably won't return to it too much.

Having said that I am baffled as to how 'Sober' wasn't released as the second single. It's absolutely sublime and leagues and leagues ahead of 'Same Old Love'. She has to release it next, surely?

I think Sober is definitely my next choice for single, I see it is co-written by Chloe Angelides who is currently finding a bit of chart success on the new LunchMoney Lewis track. I wonder if Chloe will become the next big pop writer, I definitely sense some hype around her!

I haven't heard any other Selena albums in full but after loving 'Good For You' (song of the year, anyone?!) I thought I'd check this out and I'm loving it.

'Kill Em With Kindness', 'Hands to Myself' and 'Survivors' are the holy trinity..alongside 'Sober' and of course 'Good For You'. The production on them is so perfect, love the direction she's gone down with this.

A very solid effort from her! So much more cohesive than I imagined it to be and I don't think 'Same Old Love' sounds too bad in the context of the album tbh. 'Sober' is brilliant though <3

This is a fantastic album, love the shift in tone from just pure pop and it really works, all the songs are so catchy. Sober for next single surely!

I'm seriously loving this, I think she's really found her sound.

A lot of that is down to the great production throughout but her voice really suits it all so well.

01 Good For You (my favourite song of the year without a doubt)

02 Hands to Myself

03 Survivors

04 Kill Em With Kindness

05 Perfect

Literally couldn't pick any singles.

Good For You

Sober

Kill Em With Kindness

Camouflage OR Perfect

And thats a stretch. Unless HOM gets a jump smokers remix.

does anybody else get major JLo vibes from this album?! i mean outta my hands and body heat sound like they were written for jennifer, selena even sounds like her on parts of the latter!

this album is brilliant with same old love being one of the worst on there (why was it released again?) and sober, survivors, cologne, outta my hands and me & the rhythm being my standouts.

ME AND THE RHYTHM is so good. 11/10

Also love 'Hands To Myself', 'Rise', 'Survivors' and 'Sober'. (The singles are great as well).

I'm so pleasantly surprised with this album; she doesn't have the pipes of Ariana but this is definitely a solid pop effort! Same Old Love is gaining VERY well on US Radio and is stabilising in the Top 15 on iTunes over there so it's a good sign that this may be a good era for her singles. She should definitely consider releasing Survivors in the UK/EU as a Summer single. If she could get a Kygo remix of it as the official single it would be eaten up by almost every radio station as it's so tropical and fun. As for the US, I think Sober is her next best single for a January-March. Although I do wish she'd give Cologne some power.

Apparently they're sending Nobody to Christian radio? With the possibility being a mainstream single too, but it's the weakest on the album really for me, though still good, so I hope they don't have it as a full single. The lyrics aren't very Christian but she performed it at a Christian event with Hillsong United, maybe it's gonna be changed a bit idk.
