AH HAAA! I basically just said the same thing in the 'positions' thread. I really see it happening tbh. :lol:

It’s a shame this might end up charting a bit later than other Christmas hits as POV and 34+35 both seem to be holding up well.

Yeh I think 'Santa Tell Me' will overtake 'POV'/'34+35' the week after next, really gunning for that top 10 this year!

 

I still have only listened to one Christmas song this year, I tend to avoid them like the plague until the night I put the tree up and I'm sure many people do the same.

Oh yes true, I forgot I listened to 'Oh Santa' too because I had never heard the original.

 

I usually FORBID myself until at least November 25th as it's a month to go, but then shopping is usually a sod, I heard Christmas songs before Halloween in B&M. :lol:

I don't understand why it's not 3 tracks per era :(

Already top 20 on Spotify, now at #17, last year it went top 10 on Spotify during the first week of December, so I imagine they'll be another huge surge after December 1st.
This would've charted at #36 today if it hadn't been starred out due to the 3 track rule! Looking forward to when it can properly chart soon :D
It's a shame that for some reason this has slipped a spot and now ranks 4th among biggest daily gainers for Xmas songs on Spotify. I wonder what caused the Michael Bublé cover of "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" to have such a drastic increase compared to "Santa Tell Me".
Keeping my fingers crossed that this will finally be the year that it goes Top 10 in the UK! It really deserves that status. It's an essential Christmas song for me :wub:
