And this should be in the 50's YTD...

I can only conclude this is a sales-only countdown.

And there was me thinking 'Pompeii' would probably be outside the top 100 in a sales-only countdown. (Which was quite silly really as even though streaming would help it a lot, it did still have a very solid chart run before streaming came in and hasn't exactly stopped selling since).

Scott Mills said streaming was included though, how strange. You're probably right anyway

We'll see tomorrow when C+ arrives, as to the real YTD positions... :)

That's interesting being sales only... probably makes for a more interesting countdown so can't really complain.
Love Runs Out  Their best song this era for me.
Scott just said including streams :drama:

Which just proves he's an idiot. :)

Changes! :D

also insert plug for Faul's Something New which is amazing (in my opinion and nobody else's)

(Boo at 'Jubel' apparently outselling this though - shouldn't be too far ahead though I'd think).

Proves he's been given inaccurate information.

As far as Scott knows, it does include streams. He'll keep saying it because it's what he's been told. It reminds me of 2005 when Radio 1 aired the EOY chart without including downloads.

From what I've seen so far, the positions they've given out are totally irreconcilable which the YTD ones in C+ each week.

I thought the whole reason behind 'back dating' the streaming data to 1 Jan 2014 was so the EOY chart would be fair, and then they don't even bother using the streaming data at all. BIZARRE.
