Jason at #20 in the overall album chart and #11 in the artists album chart if I've counted correctly... ouch
Has Jason Derulo ever been a big album seller?

Not really, his last albums peaked at #8 #7 and #5 but I expected him to be a bit higher on iTunes off the back of "Want To Want Me"

PINS - Wild Nights

Prinzhorn Dance School - Home Economics

Ryan Adams - Live At Carnegie Hall

Sonny Landreth - Bound By The Blues

Tove Styrke - Kiddo

Should be another easy #1 for Muse, albeit likely nowhere close to the 108k opening of "The 2nd Law". Of Monsters & Men reached #3 with their debut album but obviously have little hype/no hit singles heading into this release, thinking 'Beneath the Skin' might do similar to Foster The People's last album? Leftfield's "Rhythm and Stealth" (containing the Top 10 smash Afrika Shox ) reached #1 all the way back in 1999, interested to see how this new one performs. From the others there- Young Guns, Tremonti, Rolling Stones and maybe FFS to grab Top 40 spots? :3

500. Wolf Alice - My Love Is Cool [PRE-ORDER] :D

Thanks, good god, album pre orders are doing terribly now arent they. Still fully expect Bros to be Alisted on radio 1 and be top 5 in the albums chart, ill be buying it physically myself :)

I'm not sure Wolf Alice have that much of a fanbase, a Top 40 debut would be pretty good for them at this point!

New albums update:

Of Monsters And Men  15 + 58

Tremonti  20

A few recognisable names but not any I can see really making the Top 10 i.e managing 8k/9k. Rixton could possibly do it but will probably be #11 to keep up tradition. :P It's too early for WALK THE MOON to make the Top 10 I think but Top 20 should be done with some ease. It's possible that they could stick around as 'Shut Up and Dance' builds more and more airplay but it's hard to say with these type of acts. If they their second single does well, their album will probably take off again.

Hoping Giorgio Moroder can get himself a Top 20 album - a lot of current names/acts with good fanbases on his album (Sia, Charli XCX, Britney, Kylie, Mikky Ekko, Foxes etc.) which could work in his favour, as well as the Radio 2 support. That said, he surprisingly only has one charting album to his name, so Top 20 may be a bit ambitious (I can see it easily making the Top 40 despite this, though).

Nice to see three dance-orientated #1 albums in the making!

Every time I see this I have to keep reminding myself you don't mean 'When Will I Be Famous?' or 'Drop The Boy' because I'm old.

This week's new releases:

35. Leon Bridges - Coming Home

51. Wolf Alice - My Love Is Cool

Looking forward to hearing the EE album :cheer:

A handful of potential new entries from this lot; Everything Everything sold 13k of 'Arc' first-week off the back of a Top 40 single (and another that wasn't far off), would like them to make the Top 10 again but I fear they might land just outside. Leon Bridges could do well- his music fits the same kind of market as someone like Michael Kiwanuka, might challenge for the Top 10 also. Not sure how much of a fanbase Wolf Alice have, nonetheless I expect a peak around #20-25 or so. Kacey's last album apparently made the Top 40 so i'm pretty confident this'll do the same. MIKA's been getting strong support from Radio 2, this new album could maybe peak higher than 'Origin of Love' (#24)?
