Easy #1 for Years & Years which is fantastic. I'm thinking about 30k first week.

 

As far as album download pre-orders go, Rudimental are going to rack up a lot if they're going to keep a mid-September release for their album.

That's excellent for Kacey! She seems more like a physical seller than a digital seller too so hopefully top 10 is in the bag :D

I can't even spot a new album release this week, :nocheer: apart from the Glasto effect, oh well Florence #1 again, unless Lionel Richie gets there with his collection album. :nocheer:

James Bay could fill the summer lull well him and Florence who seems to be doing well these eras - though the sales will be 10k a week!

I wonder if there's a small chance that Krept & Konan could get the #1 album this week, taking advantage of the 5 day sales week. Their last release made the top 20 and they are now much bigger, with a top 10 single behind them. Their album did really well on iTunes pre-orders when it was first put up as well.

I hope it's the first album to pass 100,000 first week sales this year. It may have a chance as albums now have a whole 7 days to chart instead of 6

I can't see 100k happening. I never saw them as big album sellers until very recently, but 'Shine' seems to have helped the album's pre-orders immensely, I'd love them to sell 50k+!

I've learnt not to take big predictions so I'm going for 30k/40k. I can see them sticking around a long time with festivals and whatnot over the summer, plus 'Shine' is getting support from MOR radio.

I'm pretty sure it will be more like 30-40k indeed. Which is still astonishing for a debut album in this dire album climate! If they have strong enough post-album single(s) I can easily see them going Platinum.

I think 40,000-50,000. I think anything under 40k would be slightly disappointing.

I could see a load of singles getting released/re-released and get instant support from Radio 1 which will keep their album a float a la Catfish and the Bottlemen and The 1975 and the like.
