I'm not surprised, sounds like the kind of show I was expecting though I will definetely give this a miss.

I made the error of watching the CBBC thing out of curiosity and the presenter got on my nerves in the first 3 minutes.

Track of the Day 25/06

Foals - What Went Down

Their last era I remember they got really overplayed so expect R1 to collectively orgasm over this song.

Great track, good that radio 1 play these indie acts, if they didnt no-one would and they introduce them to the mainstream.
The replacement for the Sunday chart show has been announced

http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnew...kname=corporate

Sounds good actually... nice that they're still featuring the charts a bit on a Sunday and also R1 doing a show that celebrates pop music is great.

I think they are trying to find the next Fearne Cotton or Reggie Yates....I dont mind as a presenter will tune to see what his show is like but I wish they would bring another request show out. The listeners dont get much of a say no more, with the request show at least they had there own show. They only have Greg's 10 minute takeover!!

Really liked his last single, this is more of a grower!

TOTD for Fri 26th June - Chemical Brothers 'Go'

I quite like it, even though it sounds very 10 years ago.

Jeremih - Tonight Belongs To U! (feat. Flo Rida)

gonna be big surely, Jeremih is proving to be a selling point now with 'Don't Tell Em'/'Somebody'/'Freak of the Week' all being hits and it's got Flo Rida on it too. And with it being dance-pop it's very accessible.

That is absolutely AMAZING. Seriously GOOD!

It astounds me how Jeremih has gone from the utter tripe of 'Birthday Sex' to the stuff he's been doing recently! Amazing.

Yeah, I'm shocked. This is incredible :o

Big step down from Don't Tell 'Em, Somebody & Freak Of The Week (all 11/10 moments tbf).

Even Flo Rida's last two singles have been better than this. Not too sure why Jeremih has been ushered down this route if I'm honest.

It's miles better than every song you've just mentioned

'Tonight Belongs To U!' is really good, sounding a bit sellouty shouldn't be equated to automatically being generic and bland, which this definitely isn't. To me it's a lot better than 'Don't Tell 'Em' (if anything that's the generic one). Anyway I'm glad it's getting UK support! It's been out for months and hasn't seemed to take off in the US at all so I assumed it would be ignored everywhere.

All depends on personal taste I guess  To me, this sounds like an 09-11 era song and like it or not, his return to prominence has been down to his R&B jams. If someone like Chris Brown or Usher or Ne-Yo released this, I'd say the same thing - they don't need to make this type of music anymore!

Don't Tell 'Em didn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but for a song like that to smash without a video is surely testament to how hot the song was!? Fantastic song, one that will live longer in the memory than this.

I actually forgot what Don't Tell 'Em sounds like...

'Down On Me' is a total bop, though

Fair enough

Down On Me is amazing I agree

Ella Eyre's 'Good Times' is today's TOTD but there's no upload on Youtube, hopefully their will be shortly!

Another underwhelming Ella single, even if it is featuring Sigma. Was really hoping this would finally be her killer single, but I imagine she'll probably just miss the Top 10 with it again!

Obvs won't do anything chart wise but still a great track from a great album!
