It's just over 1 month left until the big reveal of who killed Lucy Beale on 19th February. On New Year's Day's episode of "EastEnders" the suspects in the murder investigation were narrowed down to 13 in a scene involving Emma Summerhayes sending a text message to the killer.

So which of the 13 suspects do you believe killed Lucy?

 

My guess is Cindy.

I think it's Cindy too, and Jane is covering for her in some way. There's no way that Jane is innocent in all this, but she's definitely not the killer.

I'm torn between Abi and Jane but went for Abi, even though Jane seems less obvious so that's why I kind of think her if that makes sense!

I'm thinking Jane (I'm refusing to believe someone pathetic like Abi could be the killer in one of the biggest EE storylines!!). I thought Cindy for a long time but I've changed my mind after remembering she text Lucy "where are you?" the day after she was killed which she obviously wouldn't do if she knew she killed her. Then Jane seemed to fit more and more.

 

It's certainly not anyone outside the Branning/Beale family.

I think Ben now. He seems to always be at the right place at the wrong time, I am very suspicious of him

I definitely agree that it's someone within the Branning/Beale family (Denise included). It wouldn't have a big enough impact otherwise. Speaking of Denise, I just realised that maybe her abuse of Patrick shows she has form for violence. It could be Denise after all?

I keep thinking back to when Dominic said the killer may not necessarily surprise you but it'll make you think "that fits but it's sad" or something like that, so that's why I think it has to be someone in the Branning/Beale family (probably more Beale family).

 

I have wondered about Denise too but I don't see why she'd kill Lucy, unless it was an accident.

I think Abi but I also think it could be Jane or Denise

Although, we now know Denise does have quite a temper on her due to her abusing Patrick

I said Jane for reasons I'm not sure of. It can't be Abi, they're trying way too hard to convince us of it. Tbh I remember cast members suggesting it was Abi right from the start and you can't help but feel they were asked to say it.
