Can only echo the surprise at 'The C Word'!

'Sunday Night at the Palladium' did better than I expected though.

That's actually really good for Eastenders, especially since it clashed with football - highest Tuesday figure since 24th March.

Great ratings for Charlie Brooker!

Regarding last night's election coverage, in the 10-11 hour, Channel 4 (1.95m) rated higher than ITV (1.45m). ITV in a worse position than Labour tbh

BBC One got 6.35m and Sky News got 0.36m.

I'm surprised at how well Britain's Got Talent is holding up considering the lack of talent there has been so far. I suppose it's a case of there being nothing better to watch.

Each episode has had some good (or, even, very good) acts amid a load of mediocrity and utter dross. However, the viewing public still seem to like it. If viewing figures drop, they have the option of cutting a couple of the audition episodes by removing a lot of the dross and / or mediocrity.

Ouch at Benefits Street. 2.15m is still decent for Channel 4, but it's well down on its debut episode last year, which got over 5 million. It looks like this shows that there is a limit to "all publicity is good publicity".

Disappointing really for Big Brother, down 300,000 from last year. :/

I suppose it's nearly a month earlier than normal and they announced it only two weeks beforehand out of the blue.

Interesting note though that I've just read about Big Brother. It is 115% on Channel 5's three-month slot average and Bit on the Side is up 75% on the average. So, while the figures may not look too great, it still stands strong for Channel 5.

lol at 'The Delivery Man'! Although I'm not laughing as much over 'Big Brother', the second episode and it's already down to 1.1m. :(
