Yeah I'm loving the show this year, the boot camp episode last night was thoroughly enjoyable and I was loving the drama  The judges have excellent chemistry and I very much like them all. Jennifer and Simon are my current faves but there are SO many fantastic acts this year I think.

Auditions have always been my least favourite part of the process, I only properly get into it from bootcamp onwards. Very pleased that they've brought back the first stages of bootcamp as it felt rushed last year going straight to the Six Chair Challange!

The show obviously stitches a lot of people up but this latest story is ridiculous  :

X Factor reject Ryan Ruckledge has blamed Simon Cowell for 'ruining his life', saying that he was encouraged to get drunk on the show to "liven things up". Ryan left Boot Camp unceremoniously last weekend after a heavy day of drinking, with Cowell calling the singer a "horror of a human being" after his $l*t-dropping performance.

Speaking to The Sun, Ryan said: "Simon Cowell has ruined my life. "I was told by the crew to get drunk so it would liven things up... I've been stitched up. It's a complete nightmare. "Why let us have free booze if they don't want you to get drunk?"

The Blackpool-born singer went on to say: "I've been made to look like a complete idiot and my own mum is ashamed of me and is throwing me out. "I've been getting death threats on Twitter and I am genuinely concerned for my safety."

Thames TV has since said in an official statement: "All contestants were made aware that it was optional for them to attend the welcome party that was thrown on the first night of Boot Camp, and many of the contestants opted to continue to rehearse or go to bed early."

'I was told by the crew to get drunk', so why would you listen to them? How on earth would getting drunk help you get through to the next stage, get some common sense! What an idiot.

Oh it was quite obvious he was a plant from the off, no doubt well paid for it so just be quiet and move on.
Louis Walsh confirmed to be coming back, sat in a seperate section to the panel giving his "commentary" on the performances as an impartial fifth judge.

f***ING YES LOUIS

Worst mentor, but the best character. It's not the same without him.

WHY? :( :(

As if his comments ADD anything. They come from 'An Idiot's Guide to Judging: 2001 Edition'!

Well that reforming of the panel went well didn't it? :heehee: I'm intrigued to see how much of a hot mess that'll make the live shows!

I've been watching this on and off this year, I'm quite impressed with the amount of talent this year, definitely seems like it's moreso than the last two years and the talent does somehow feel a bit more fresh/potential "star quality" (even if they had to rope in professionals in some cases to show that  ). Shame it doesn't seem to be reversing the declining viewing figures.

I agree.

I love his comments about the rule book <3

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS

Louis is (was) by far the best thing about the latter years of X Factor. A complete joke, a complete parody, a complete HOOT to watch.

Anyone know the schedule this weekend? Is it just the Sunday show?

For the next fortnight its only transmitted on Sunday as far I'm aware

It's longer than the next fortnight! This is the first of FOUR weeks with no Saturday show :drama:

That's better I don't have to record Dr. Who for the next month :D

I don't actually mind that, I find it a bit much having it on both nights at the weekend, as much as I love it.

VERY glad about the Louis news, seems a little ridiculous to just have him sitting in the background randomly commenting on performances but hey ho.

No one watching X Factor tonight? :o

That drag guy sings very well :o
