January 21, 201510 yr The 1990 RR is brilliant. The start was a lot better than the ending for me, but it was fantastic and the crowd were absolutely brilliant! The first 10 or so superstars all consisted of some of the most iconic superstars and performers of all time. Ted DiBiase, Marty Jannetty, Roddy Piper (MASSIVE reactions to him and his moves!), Jake the Snake, Macho Man, Bret Hart, Dusty Rhodes and Andre the Giant! And then, obviously we have the moment between Hulk and Warrior.
January 21, 201510 yr Author Plus Edge was in the crowd wasn't he or was that Wrestlemania #flopfanknowledge
January 26, 201510 yr Yep, except you're being too kind. 1 out of 10 for the 2015 Rumble = the worst they've ever done.
January 26, 201510 yr The Rumble was good I thought until Daniel Bryan got eliminated  was enjoying until that point, then it all pointed to Reigns. -_-
January 28, 201510 yr I thought the whole thing was awful - at least Bryan being eliminated "early" made me take notice. Six contestants spent less than a minute in the match, a further four spent less than three minutes and less than half were in there for more than five minutes. The ring barely got busy throughout and the way Kane and Big Show teamed up to clear the ring slowly and methodically pointed to the most obvious ending they've had in years. Everyone was so upset that the "surprise" that Rusev was still in it barely registered. The funny thing was...they ended Smackdown with wrestler after wrestler coming down to a full ring to whet fans' appetites and then never went anywhere near that.
January 28, 201510 yr I will be editing this but I want to get my votes in before I forget! 03.0 1988 >> Pretty bland and uneventful, considering it's the first ever rumble! << 07.0 1989 09.0 1990 >> The crowd were on FIRE for this one. The first ten superstars were amongst the most iconic performers of all time! I really enjoyed it! << 06.5 1991 08.0 1992 04.5 1993 06.5 1994 >> DAT ENDING THO... << 06.0 1995 07.0 1996 05.0 1997 >> I don't like it when one man practically dominates and keeps eliminating people so he's in the ring on his own. It's boring. But it was a very good finale! << 07.5 1998 01.0 1999 >> Barring McMahon/Austin, this was proper poop and had nothing else going for it, at all. << 11.0 2000 10.0 2001 06.5 2002 >> Lita saves everything tbh. This was ok, up until the cameras started focussing on everything but the in-ring action/stupidly long entrances! << 06.0 2003 07.5 2004 08.0 2005 >> Loved the beatdown on Hassan! << 06.0 2006 08.5 2007 09.0 2008 >> Madison Square Garden, ALWAYS delivers! << 07.0 2009 07.0 2010 07.5 2011 06.0 2012 07.0 2013 06.5 2014 >> The result/no DB ruined EVERYTHING. <<Finished! Really enjoyed watching/rewatching a lot of these. I think I need to rewatch 2006-2010 though. But they're scores from what I remember of them!
February 1, 201510 yr Author right Pablo I'm sorry but I'ma have to take your votes from where you got up to as the deadline was yesterday. The result probably won't give much as only 4 people voted  but either way we should still find out who the victorious one is from those who did vote!
February 2, 201510 yr Author RESULTS TIME !!! :cheer: starting off at 21 is the 1999 Royal Rumble, you know the one that Mr Mchanon won last eliminating Austin who wrestled him from the top two positions and finished as the last two people in the match . Really served no purpose as he didn't take part in any title match at that years Wrestlemania. It also marked the first time a females wrestler took part in the form of Chyna. Next up was the 1995 rumble where again the first two lasted all the way to the end as this was the first of HBK's back to back rumble victories when he eliminated The British Bulldog. In at 20th was the 1997 rumble won by Stone Cold Steve Austin making it the first of his 3 rumble wins, he last eliminated Vader. Yokozuna won the 1993 Royal Rumble which comes next at 19th place, he went on to defeat Bret Hart at Wrestlemania but then Hulk Hogan somehow got himself into a match with Yoko after saving Bret Hart from a post beat down and quickly won the title the same night. The very first Royal Rumble all the way back from 1988 is 18th won by Hacksaw Jim Duggan, a fairly boring first Rumble if I'm honest and finally to round this off we have the 2006 Rumble at 17th. This was the one where Rey Mysterio was deemed the ultimate underdog and won the match in dedication to his late friend Eddie Guerrero, a much loved popular wrestler who passed away in 2005. Rey won the World Championship in a triple threat which included Randy Orton and the champ defending in the match Kurt Angle. 16. 2006 = 14 Points 17. 1988 = 13 Points 18. 1993 = 12.5 Points 19. 1997 = 11 Points 20. 1995 = 9 points 21. 1999 = 6 points Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 2, 201510 yr No surprises so far. 2006 really peeved me off. Pretty sure, iirc, Rey just latched onto the bottom of the rope for practically the whole rumble?
February 2, 201510 yr Author Next bunch now as the 1998 Royal Rumble slips out at 16th place, this was the one where Stone Cold eliminated The Rock last to win his 2nd consecutive rumble match and this was the one which starred all 3 of Mick Foley's different characters, Cactus Jack, Dude Love & Mankind. The next 3 position are all a dose of jointh positions. We see two brilliant Rumbles out at 15th in my opinion, especially the 2009 one where Rey & John Morrison were the first two starting it out and The Undertaker come out half way through plus the return of Rob Van Dam. Santino broke The Warlords record of 2 seconds by being eliminated in 1 second. The match was won eventually by Randy Orton. The 1996 match I knew pretty much all the entrants bar a few, very enjoyable match with an early Triple H entering in 1st position and lasting towards the end almost but his good buddy Shawn Michaels once again won the Rumble making it 2 years in a trot. Back to the last decade as we see 2005 the controversial Cena/Batista ending which Batista claimed the victory and 2007 was the first time The Undertaker won the Rumble having entered numerous times previously and also a whole 10 years earlier to be precise entered in the same draw 30 :o 2008 saw HBK and Taker start off the Rumble and dominating the majority of it before both were eliminated by Mr Kennedy. Remember him? :P Cena was out of action in late 2007 with an injury and was expected to return mid way into the new year but surprised everyone and came back even earlier than timetabled and won the match eliminating Triple H last. Finally at 13th is the 1994 Rumble which had the original controversial ending where Lex Lugar & Bret Hart both won making it the first time we had a joint Rumble winner. Stuck in the same position was the 2004 Rumble, Benoit was placed as the 1st entry and outlasted 29 other men to win the rumble knocking Big Show off last. Sadly the mention of Benoit's record for longest time in a rumble match and the quote of him being a former Rumble winning has been completely ignored from record books based on the tragic events some 3 and a half years later. P.S. the 1996, 2009, 2005, 2008 & 2004 rumbles deserved better. I enjoyed them all thoroughly so shame they aren't higher but oh well it is what it is especially when only 5 people took part  JOINT 12th. 1994 & 2004 = 17.5 Points JOINT 13th . 2005, 2007 & 2008 = 17 points JOINT 14th. 1996 & 2009 = 16 points 15th. 1998 = 14.5 points Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 2, 201510 yr Interested to see the 2008 rumble, don't think I've seen that one, Undertaker & Michaels starting escapes me.
February 2, 201510 yr Taker and Michaels starting was brilliant booking. Especially with the way things had planned out!
February 2, 201510 yr Taker and Michaels starting was brilliant booking. Especially with the way things had planned out! Downloading this now, quite stoked to watch it, I cooled off WWE from say 2004 to 2013 so will be interesting!
February 2, 201510 yr Author Downloading this now, quite stoked to watch it, I cooled off WWE from say 2004 to 2013 so will be interesting! It's a brilliant match. I rewatched it a week or so ago. Really good, 2009 for me was also fantastic. That was the last very good one for me. That or 2008.
February 5, 201510 yr Author In at #11th is the 2010 Rumble, this one was where Dolph Ziggler & Evan Bourne started the match with CM Punk in his 'Straight Edge Society' phase, he went rambling on between the time gaps between entries 4,5 & 6 before getting eliminated by Triple H. Beth Phoenix also became the 2nd woman in history to enter a rumble match and managed to eliminate The Great Khali. This was eventually won by "THE RATED R SUPERSTAR" Edge who had been out for 7 months with an injury and eliminated his then recent tag team partner Chris Jericho! zBQ20vZ1Hic 10th 2010 Royal Rumble match - 20 points Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
