February 5, 201510 yr Author Bizarrely enough I watched the 2012 last night once again, this had some comedy fun in the beginning with Mick Foley, Ricardo Rodriguez & Santino Marella. All 3 commentators entered the match with Booker T lasting the longest. Michael Cole entered at 20 but was immediately confronted with entry 21 in KHARMA *.* who became the 3rd woman to ever enter the match. She managed to eliminated Hunico before Dolph dumped her over. 1988 Royal Rumble winner 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan appeared for the 25th annual Rumble but lasted under a minute being eliminated by Cody Rhodes. The final two men came down to Jericho and Sheamus with Sheamus eventually claiming the victory with a Brogue Kick to Y2J whilst he was on the apron. 58c1ESuFmoA 11th - 2012 = 18 points p.s. I got these two the wrong way in terms of posting but this is 11 and the 2010 one was 10th. Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 5, 201510 yr IIRC the 2012 Royal Rumble had the longest "final 2" segment, ever. I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read that somewhere!
February 6, 201510 yr IIRC the 2012 Royal Rumble had the longest "final 2" segment, ever. I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read that somewhere! I liked that. They very rarely have it come down to two people, it often goes down to three with the eventual winner being double-teamed for a while before dumping out the other two.
February 6, 201510 yr I thought 2012 was alright, get's more stick than it deserves, Road Dogg was in this right?
February 6, 201510 yr 2012 wasn't bad actually, I enjoyed it. The commentators bit was a bit stupid though, especially since there were plenty of wrestlers who could have taken those three spots.
February 7, 201510 yr Author Well only The King's bit. I liked Cole getting involved just for Kharma to come out tbh. I wouldn't be saying this if she wasn't in it and therefore agree with you but I liked it for the confrontation especially coming out in the next entry after Cole's  Edited February 7, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 13, 201510 yr Author 10th & 9th place coming in the next hour or two. Will definitely continue this tonight with a few positions! Posted edited Sun 15th Feb! Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 15, 201510 yr Author after several attempts to get on with this to then put it on hold is ridiculous but here is some more positions! 9th : 2011 Royal Rumble Match 2011 = 22.5 points zn1dmxoIGiw This one was where we had CM Punk entered 1st and dominated the first half of the match with The New Nexus, we saw the returns of Diesel and Hall of Famer Booker T. Chavo payed homage to Eddie with a load of 3 amigos to several wrestlers, Hornswoggle and Cena ended up eliminating a few wrestlers. Cena was eliminated by The Miz who wasn't in the match and Santino was the last man chucked out by the Rumble winner of that year ALBERRRRRTTOOOOOOOO DEL RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIO!!!! Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 15, 201510 yr Author Just skimmed through and I missed another joint position which is still to come so everything has been upped a position and we're now at #8. 8th : 1990 Royal Rumble Match = 24 Points This was the first of two back to back Rumble match wins for Hogan, can't really go into much detail as I haven't watched it enough to dissect anything about the match and what went on but the one time or two that I've watched this rumble I found it very enjoyable for what it was. Hogans win went on to Wrestlemania where he wrestled the late 'Ultimate Warrior' in the main event. Future WWE wrestler and HOF Edge was present in the crowd for that match at Mania as well! UB2537niWtw -- 1989 Royal Rumble Match = 24 Points So this match I saw a few weeks back and after disregarding it at first I bumped my marks up a little as it was a bit better than I thought although nowhere near the best rumble even of that time! Big John Studd won this rumble last eliminating Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, it also had the original record for shortest time in a rumble match until 2009 when The Warlord got tossed straight out by Hogan at 2 seconds and Andre The Giant eliminated himself early on when Jake Roberts brought a python into the ring! Starting the match we also had both members of Demolition Ax & Smash too! m3bmjGxa60s Edited February 15, 201510 yr by Rob S
February 16, 201510 yr The CM Punk / Del Rio rumble should have been lower and the 1989 and 1990 ones much higher up!
February 23, 201510 yr Author Joint #7 = 24.5 Points 1991 & 2014 Royal Rumble Can't find any highlights video for 1991! dyicava5Iq0 Batista won the 2014 Rumble with this match being dominated by The Shield (Reign's 12 eliminations) and CM Punk's last appearance in WWE before walking out the next night. Hulk Hogan won the 1991 rumble in which The Undertaker made his debut! Edited February 23, 201510 yr by Rozzle S
February 23, 201510 yr Author 6th - 2003 Rumble - 25 Points Now this was my first Rumble that I saw as I hadn't long started watching WWE properly till end of 2002. The Monster Brock Lesnar back in his prime managed to outlast 29 other superstars including Undertaker, Kane, a early John Cena, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels & RVD to name a few. HBK and Jericho started this match up off where Jericho eliminated Shawn early on before Michaels got some revenge attacking Jericho later on nearer the end setting up for their Wrestlemania feud! zcaNh4gC4jA
March 6, 201510 yr Author 5TH 2013 Royal Rumble - 27 Points tQvrXi5xZRQ John Cena won this rumble making it his 2nd Rumble match win in his illustrious career! Nothing else worth noting apart from Jericho starting the Rumble against Ziggler, Ziggler has begin the Rumble on two seperate occasions, this one in 2013 & 2010. Daniel Bryan also at one point in the match on the apron getting brogue kicked I think, onto Kane and for a 30 seconds he was caught in Kane's arms before Kane dropped him eliminating Bryan from the match. I think everyone was more interested in the match that followed which pitted CM Punk against The Rock in which Rock would win his first title since 2002 and would ultimately end Punk's lengthy reign as champ at 434 days!
March 6, 201510 yr Author 4th - 1992 Royal Rumble 28 points uRUWXo99FuA and this needs no introduction really, was the first Rumble to have the WWE (WWF at the time) title at stake and featured all the top old skool wrestlers including Big Bossman, Roddy Piper, Tito Santana, Sid Justice, Ted Dibiase, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan and the winner Ric Flair. If you haven't seen this Rumble then what the hell are you doing with ya life! Best 90's Rumble for me ^_^
March 9, 201510 yr There has never been a better Royal Rumble than 1992 - I'm assuming those of you who didn't vote for it haven't seen it.
April 27, 201510 yr Author 3RD MOST VOTED ROYAL RUMBLE IS 2002 = 30.5 Points rkBxx9HHpl0 This Rumble featured The Undertaker entering in #9th draw and clearing house also eliminating both Hardyz before getting eliminated in shock fashion by Tough Enough winner at the time MAVEN!!! Triple H also made his highly anticipated return chucking Kurt Angle out last to go on and defeat Chris Jericho at that years Wrestlemania for the Undisputed World Title! Which leaves 2000 & 2001 battling it out, which Rumble match year did you vote for. All shall be revealed in a bit :o Edited April 27, 201510 yr by Rob S
May 1, 201510 yr Author #2 :o is......................... ROYAL RUMBLE 2001 = 42 Points SOJj2glimVo this Rumble was won by Austin which would end up being his 3rd Rumble match win, the first two being back to back. We saw a celeb entry in the form of Drew Carey and surprise returns at the time from Big Show, HonkyTonkMan & Haku. The below video really pinpoints the main slice of history though which was Kane's damn near impressive performance of eliminating 11 guys, a record that lasted until Roman Reigns last year!
May 5, 201510 yr Author YOUR WINNER IS.... 2000 Royal Rumble = recieving 52 points. aywz7hTylRM YES so the Rumble you voted for as your winner is the 2000 Royal Rumble which The Rock won last eliminating Big Show! Edited May 5, 201510 yr by Rob S~
