February 24, 201510 yr Author 02. BRITNEY SPEARS (3,441,000) 9 HITS http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2xG3FqUMh1M/Ug0S3LM-FzI/AAAAAAAAEHI/uLmFYmEUzDo/s1600/Oops..I%20Did%20It%20Again%20Promo%20Shoot%20(8).jpg There are few pop debuts as arresting as “....Baby One More Time” with its memorable video which announced Britney’s arrival in 1999. Spears teenage years encompass most of her “golden period” when the hits came thick and fast, three chart toppers and only 1 of those 9 hits failing to make the top 10 is pretty impressive as she dominated the pop world of 99/2000. A move to a more sexualised image in 2001 is popularly thought to have damaged sales but we all have to grow up sometime. pFKiJDxBp4c

All nine of their official singles released during the period went top 10 including 4 top chart toppers as they quickly established themselves as the premier boyband in the land replacing JLS and the Wanted on bedroom walls around the UK. 1kibIl1HohM

February 24, 201510 yr Author HOLD THE FRONT PAGE!- I can't explain why I've put Minaj in this thread! Haha- What a mistake to make!
February 24, 201510 yr Author Correct list now printed! I must have read 1992 and not 1982- it can be my only explanation! haha
February 24, 201510 yr Shame Britney only lost out by a measly 4000 copies but still a great result nonetheless
February 24, 201510 yr FIVE STAR = I actually do enjoy a lot of their song, bought the Greatest Hits recently for £3 and found it really good, System Addict, Rain Or Shine, Can't Wait Another Minute, The Slightest Touch, Let Me Be The One are all cracking tunes. BILLIE PIPER= Again loved her back in the day and remember being in school when Because We Want To went to #1 and all my classmates were talking about her and remember also loving Girlfriend, She Wants You, Honey To The B and I Dream from her first album and Day And Night, Something Deep Inside, The Tide Is High, Ring My Bell, from her 2nd, but when Britney came out a year later everyone seemed to almost forget about Billie, and shame she never had a third album. B*WITCHED = Another childhood fave, bought every single and album from them, and well just loved everything about them. Even love their recent stuff Love And Money, Champagne Or Guinness and Stars Are Ours all should have been hits. JUSTIN BIBER = Only liked Baby and Somebody To Love, that's it. GARETH GATES = Actually quite liked him at first Anyone Of Us was a great tune and his first album was pretty good and had some decent tunes = Sentimental (which should have been a single instead of What My Heart Wants To Say), Good Thing and I've Got No Self Control
