Her best exclusively solo single so far I reckon!

All her songs seem the same to me, all similar structure with similar lyrics about being in love. It's good, but a bit predictable. I knew what the song was going to sound like before listening.

Right Here remains to be her best.

yes i agree, releasing knock-off and ultimately subpar versions of songs you were a feature on isn't really the way to launch a solo career.

i foresee her going the way of ella eyre. what is there to invest in as an artist here? who would go and see her live?

This is brilliant, she's a star. Sort of sounds like a lost disco classic.
It really is something special I think and I can't see where the hate is coming from :( It sounds nothing like any of her other material. featuring/solo of otherwise. I agree with the sort of lost Disco classic sound though. I really hope this can go to #1. That would be amazing and can I say this is the first solo track that I've Backed :cheer:

I love summery videos like this! Would love this to get to #1, it's got a chance based on its pre-orders so far so let's see.

Excellent video. The neon necklace scene is to die for.

The song is so uplifting.

Really loving this song. If it could be the 'Rather Be' of this year, that'd be great! It really is how you take inspiration from the current "in" sound and make it your own without it sounding like a complete rip off of something that's already been.

well it is something of a continuation of 'rather be' so if that's what you mean by inspiration then i definitely agree

the video has helped me do something of a 180, fits the joyous tone of the song perfectly. chart music is so often moody these days, having something joyous and by a woman (as opposed to a faceless dance act or boring male) is quite refreshing.

It sounds like 'Real Love' part 2 to me actually. Not that it rips off Real Love though, it stands out by itself and is great.

since watching the video for this, 'real love' is all i've had stuck in my head

I still think it's faceless trash tbh. Sounds like everything else she's done though. Oops.
I do like this and didn't particularly realise it but now people have pointed it out it really is thematically just like Real Love and Rather Be (plus Right Here) Sonically it's not too far away. It's one of those things I didn't really think of but now I can't unhear it!

To me, it sounds nothing at all like Right Here. I completely get the comparisons with Real Love however with the piano-y sound.

I get the comparisons to Real Love but not to anything Else. I've not liked this woman up until this single so yay for that!
It does sound almost exactly like Real Love, but considering that song was amazing and a huge hit, it could be worse! There's just so much room in the current pop landscape for somebody whose music is as joyous and unpretentious as this. She could lay some foundations that long outlast the dance music revival she came from.
