Funk.

Hooray for Meghan getting a second top 2 hit, shame she couldn't get #1 though. 'Lips Are Movin' is another great pop song.

Hurrah! :cheer: The five-and-a-half-year wait for a 5 consecutive week No1 is finally over! :yahoo:

Despite my dislike of the track I am glad we finally have another 5-weeker (consec.) Will be 7-8 though ultimately which is pretty impressive stuff.

Not too bothered it would have been annoying if LAM just missed out but it was never a competition.

Meghatron *.* amazing. Obvious result there, although slight slip up there saying it had been no.1 for six weeks in a row, easy mistake to make though I guess.

'Lips Are Movin' is so joyous and infectious. Formulaic her style may be, but at least it's fun!

I really dislike this Meghan track. AATB was much better.

Was Rihanna's 'We Found Love' that long ago? :o

Edited by highlander69

I kinda wanted Uptown Funk to be #2 for a week for Lips Are Movin' to be number one.

Next week's top 10 contender

I'd love Take Me To Church to get number 2 next week over Fergie, but I'm not holding my breath :(

Glad Meghan's not number 1, not a very strong song (and parts of it veer close to just being a rip-off of All About That Bass) and there's something really, really annoying about her that I can't quite place.

Jade where have you been recently? :(

Just saw this! Schoolwork and having to work crazy hours all weekend :( I now have a lot more time again which is brilliant. <3

Next week's flop :(

Was Rihanna's 'We Found Love' that long ago? :o

That wasn't consecutive ;)

The real question remains: how long will Meghan stay in the top 10?

4-5 weeks max I'm thinking. Probably will fall out of the top 40 before AATB too.
